It's just okay. I miss the old store. This new 'improved' version is clean, bright, and about as refined as a depanneur.

I stopped by to pick up a gift for someone. I had something specific in mind. Couldn't seem to find the section that it should have been in, although, it kind of was... I was looking for a particular brand of bourbon, which is basically another name for whiskey, but I was looking for the section marked bourbon... At any rate, I circled the isles at least twice without noticing anything labelled bourbon. I should have been more knowledgeable I suppose on the variations of whiskey, so I suppose I'm somewhat responsible for the amount of time it took me to find what I was looking for... My point being is that they were understaffed, which I suppose is typical throughout the retail industry. From what I could tell, there was one person working the floor, and two that were on the cash. No fault of the staff whatsoever for the oversight of a customer who was having trouble locating something. The staff member who was working the floor was occupied with another customer. I walked over to her when she was finished dealing with that customer ,who was there ahead of me. I told her what I was looking for and she checked on the computer and found there to be a bottle in the store..The outlet is not very large and selection of the more exotic brands are not readily available... But that's okay.. the staff was friendly and the store was clean and I have no problem stopping there again if I need something... At least I know where the bourbon is kept if ever again I am in need.. I was disappointed with the fact that they didn't have a little gift bag that I could put the bottle in... Well ,it is after all a government-run business, the gift bags I presume are issued through some other department...

Very limited selection, esp. of cellier wines, but still a decent neighbourhood wine store if you're not looking for something out of the ordinary. Staff isn't super-friendly or useful, but if you're just looking for a good wine on the cheap side, it's an OK place. If looking for real treats, like more expensive wines or a wide choice of, say, green wines, you're very much in the wrong place.
