About Shwap Club (St-Henri)
Shwap Club (St-Henri) is a clothing swap business where members exchange their own items for credits to acquire other pieces. The concept is widely appreciated as a great, eco-friendly idea that saves money and avoids overconsumption. Many find very beautiful clothes, pretty gems in excellent condition, sorted and carefully inspected. The staff is noted as ultra friendly and courteous, and the process is described as organized, respectful, and straightforward. However, the experience can be hit or miss. Some visits yield several nice, quality items, while others may result in finding nothing. Success often requires going often. Some reviewers note extremely limited options for sizes above medium, with more availability in XS, S, and M. The inventory can sometimes feel outdated, featuring fast-fashion brands not in prime condition, which can be disappointing for those trading in higher-value items. The online swap, or *shwapper en ligne*, is very popular but challenging; drops happen once a month and items disappear in minutes, sometimes with technical issues. There is an entry fee or membership to bank credits. While the home decor items are cute, they are not included with the standard membership. The model is a practical and recommended idea for swapping clothes, though some feel its execution needs restructuring for a more consistently successful experience.

I love the concept of trading. I’ve been a Shwap club member for years and have found many great pieces! It’s best to go often to find gems, like thrifting it’s natural that some days are less successful! I recommend it to all my friends and any women interested in shopping in an eco-friendly way :)

Very happy with my discovery this weekend! I was able to collect 10 credits by exchanging clothes of mine, the price of $22 was worth it. I'll eventually get the membership card to go there more often, but it's really a great idea to avoid spending all the time on things you'll only wear once or twice.
