Very happy with my discovery this weekend! I was able to collect 10 credits by exchanging clothes of mine, the price of $22 was worth it. I'll eventually get the membership card to go there more often, but it's really a great idea to avoid spending all the time on things you'll only wear once or twice.

*editMy 4th visit, I finally had some luck and walked away with some really nice quality items, so that was a nice surprise. After a few visits at both locations I think it can be hit or miss but when it's good, it's really good! I still wish shwap and ligne didn't launch in the middle of the work day and that items didn't disappear in a matter of a minute or two. Because the shwap en ligne is so popular (victim of it's own success!), the site crashed and it can be super challenging to reserve items.Finger's crossed for more successful visits!_________________Really great idea, but the execution is such a downer. I *really* wanted to like this sustainable alternative to fast fashion but unfortunately, the quality just isn't there. The process of dropping off the clothes and having them sort was straight forward which is appreciated and they ended up taking 8 of my items on my first visit.I paid the $18 entry free so I could browse and drop off clothes, but to my disappointment, there were EXTREMELY limited options for people who aren't petite (seriously, very few options in size large or XL, lots at XS, S, and some medium). Also, many of the items in store were outdated Zara items, H&M, Joe Fresh etc. and not all were in prime condition (pilling on sweaters, signs of frequent washing on some items, especially for the active wear). It kind of occupies this weird space of not being vintage/timeless, but not really feeling current or on trend with many of the items(at least during my visits). The items I had traded were new/unworn or lightly used from Scotch and Soda, Anthropologie, banana republic,CK, etc. so, when you trade in higher value items, and everything on the floor is not that, it can be disappointing. Now I have 7 credits (luckily managed to find one item in my size and good condition), and because I couldn't find anything, I had to purchase a membership to hopefully find something on other visits. After my 2nd visit, I'm not very hopeful. I brought a guest who also wasn't able to find anything. Because of this, if you have higher value items, I would go with another alternative. You may think "okay, maybe if I can't find anything in store, I'll find something online". Well, they only do "drops" once a month, and if you miss it, you have to wait for the next one to have access to inventory and there aren't many items. I was told these items go quickly! Finally, when I had arrived to the store last weekend for my 2nd visit, there was no record of my 8 credits (from when I had first registered at the Mile end location), and it took over 30 minutes standing at the register to get it sorted (the women at the register were helpful at getting it sorted, but it was a headache). There were also technical issues accessing my online client space, but luckily the company was really helpful at getting that sorted. Thank you!Small bonus, the home decor items are very cute and thoughtfully chosen but not included with the Shwap club membership (just a discount). I wish the clothing items were as nicely curated as these items.*** edit, I tried the shwapper en ligne function and it was a disappointment. Nearly everything was gone in 2 minutes- so few items available for what must be hundreds of members? I managed to reserve 2 items hoping to recoup some of my remaining credits, but again very little available in L. The shwapper en ligne opens once a month at 10:00, By 10:02- nothing is left and you must settle for items you're not excited about. Why go live in the middle of the work day?I really want this to work, but the model really needs some restructuring.

Honestly, I wouldn't give any stars but I don't have the option to do so.I had the worst experience of my life going to Shwap Club. I was at the mile end store for the first time in January 2023 where I was unable to redeem all my points (we had almost 15 unused credits). My girlfriend and I then paid the entrance fee in advance for a future visit so as not to lose our credits. At no time were we informed that there was a deadline for redeeming our credits. We returned to the St-Henri store around last April to be told that not only had we lost our credits but that we also had to pay again for an entry.Despite our incomprehension and our legitimate argument, we were unable to obtain either our credits or a refund for the entry that had not been used. I would have hoped that the Shwap Club would give us the benefit of the doubt about what we were saying. Instead we lost beautiful, quality clothes and money for nothing!!I never plan to return to the Shwap Club again!!

I love the concept, but it's hard to communicate with the company unless you go there. I have sent emails with no response and they don't seem to have a phone number to reach them. Please get in touch with me. I was a member and I still want to be and keep my credits. I emailed you a day after my renewal date to let you know I forgot and wanted to keep my credits.

What a desappointment. During my visit to the Petit Schwap Club on Wellington, I was offered free entry to try the exchange service at the other Schwap Clubs which I was to use before June 24th. I was really excited to be able to replenish my wardrobe. At 7 months pregnant, it becomes difficult to feel good in your usual clothes ? When I arrive, the employee explains to me how clothes sorting, subscription, etc. work. I start shopping. I am trying on clothes when I learn that I will have to come back during the week, the promotion not being valid on weekends. I ask the employee if we can make an exception knowing that I had not been informed that I had to go during the week (otherwise, I would never have traveled pregnant and at nearly 30 degrees to get turned around !!), nothing to do, these are the indications of the owner.I lost 1 hour of my day and a lot of disappointment, when I thought I had found a great place to shop. Because, frankly, the concept is excellent. Clothes, to my liking.

Unavoidable. I dress exclusively second-hand and the majority of my clothes come from the Shwap! I always manage to come away with a few favorite pieces. The subscription is truly worth the cost! If you're not a member yet, I recommend visiting with a single entry to try it out.

Thank you to exist!I love the concept of swinging to fight consumption, the joy of making great finds without breaking the bank and I always feel welcome! Many of the pieces I found at Shwap Club are my favorites in my wardrobe!Sometimes I find nothing, sometimes I leave with a dozen pieces but I always look forward to going back. I especially love being able to shop without feeling guilty (you help me a lot with my shopaholic trend) ??

I have always advocated thrift stores and I dream of transforming people's mentality on the reuse of clothes and objects. Since discovering the Shwap Club about 4 years ago, I have drastically reduced my expenses and I am proud to say where my "shwaper" clothes come from! I also want to underline the team of swingers who do an amazing job! Know that in no store you will receive a hello or attention as sincere as here. The girls have fun and as much the atmosphere as the other shwapeuses will offer you an unbelief experience...which for me is made weekly <3 Go find out for yourself!

I love the concept however a lot of the clothes I bring are rejected because they are worn off or not the current fashion. However when I am browsing their selections a lot of items are in really bad shape, stained and worn off and outdated so not sure how the selection process works here…

I've been a subscriber for 3 years and I still love the concept so much :)The employees are all adorable and I really like the concept of exchange and being able to shop based on crush rather than price. With the subscription you can really take advantage of the concept, since as in any thrift store you cannot always find it.I found key pieces of my wardrobe at the shwap :)A big thank you to the team and long life :)

I've been a member for two years and this is the best gift I've given myself!! An eco-friendly lifestyle and you feel so much less guilty for having "shopped" without having spent a penny (the best of both worlds!). The atmosphere and decor of the place is always "on point" and the welcome of the people who work there is so warm! I recommend x1000000 ☺️

There are several other thrift shops where you can trade your clothes and even leave your clothes which will earn you a percentage of money when selling. That said, here the problem is Mrs. Annette who is totally full of herself with an ego larger than life. Switching to Dragons has totally gone to her head I think, it's sad to feel like a nobody when you come into contact with this lady. If you want to be served with respect, this is not the place.

Best Clothing Swap Experience! The formula is simple & effective: you bring your clothes that you no longer wear, those selected by the girl bosses who work there, give you credits to exchange them for other pieces! It's an ecological, ethical and responsible way to be trendy and good in your clothes. What I love even more about shwapclub is that it's a business run by women for women! Who run the world? Girls ?

Love that place! I’ve been a member for a few years now, and have to say that most of my clothes come from there. It’s a great way to refresh your closet sustainability. I always find something great that I would never thought of buying or even trying on. Love, love, love this place. And everyone working there are always super nice and welcoming. I highly recommend!
