This chain has brought Asian supermarket to the mainstream North American market. Sure, there are some more authentic places, but most people run away when they walk into a store and smell fish immediately. T&T found a way to bring premium produce, a fresh seafood selection and some asian brands under one roof. Their ready-to-eat section is decent and attracts a good crowd.

Curious about the biggest Canadian Asian grocery in Montreal, QC, people are coming by thousands to line up at least half hour outside before entering the store for the first time.Wow! Huge! Extremely expensive! The most populous section is at the food court, especially if you are hungry after waiting 1h for the parking and entrance. Will this continue after Chinese new year? It will depend if the price matches Kim Phat or C&T.2023-01-27 The hype is now over!Every time Loblaws (the owner of T&T) opens a new store, it scares people away with their high price tags. Will see how long it will last in Montreal.2023-05-14 don't see much buying.Everything is still so expensive and the foods are Not Good!2023-07-25 nice and clean, but too expensive! Tnt food court in Toronto is so good, but not here in Montreal. Why?

Price, service, inventory all on point. Parkong lot was full. It was not even half full when Loblaws was operating. Finally, a mega grocery store holding 1000 of asian products, fish, meat, and restaurants, all offered at a very affordable price in a tough economy. Need more stores like this. Prices on fish were lower than Kim Phat, fraction of what IGA, Provigo sell.

The store is spacious and bright, and the products are complete. However, the attitude of the cashier needs to be improved, and the items are more expensive than other Chinese supermarkets.

Two main things you need to know … 1. The store closes at 10pm but the food court closes at 7:30. 2. For average montreal people price wise marche Fu Tai is better option. Had a really nice experience this is a high end store and they maintain it like that. Many staff arranging, cleaning and helping. Variety of Asian groceries drinks chips etc . Nice collection of fish , meat , frozen goods and bakery

So happy to have a T&T in Montréal, it has been one of my favourite groceries stores for a long time and I would always go when visiting Vancouver. I find that the selection in Montreal is not as vast and fresh as th west coast locations, but there are still lots of products I was happy to find and the self serve buffet by weight was a fun experience. My biggest issue is that the sesame red bean balls were not as fresh and plump as the ones in Vancouver!

Not the cheapest, but there is a timely turnover of produce. It's nice to see the staff frequently removing fruits and vegetables that are no longer fresh. Checkout process is quite efficient even when it's packed.A great selection of Chinese sauces and spices, although less choices when it comes to south-east Asian foods/sauces.They also offer Japanese snacks and skincare products.I enjoy the festivities and themes all year long, makes shopping for groceries a little more interesting!

Wow, this place feels like a scam. I believe people who come here must have never shopped for groceries before.Price: The store looks nice, but everything inside is overpriced. Provigo is cheaper than what they sell. It's the most expensive Chinese grocery store I've ever been to, not to mention the food court. I paid $22 for a meal, and it wasn't even good. Any all-you-can-eat sushi place is cheaper than this.Avoid it as much as possible. I'm really disgusted by their marketing strategy, trapping people into buying overpriced items. I hope people can become more aware of these traps. Also, all those 5-star reviews must be paid reviews because who else would be willing to pay twice the price for the same thing?

Its very nicely organized. They have a nice drugstore section. I guess I came kind of late but I didn't find the section where Chinese supermarket usually sell duck and pork? So do they have any? I don't think the prices are particularly good, but they're not horrendous. But I have to say they have the most variety in regards to moon cakes for the moon festival. I've went to many Chinese supermarket and this one definitely has the most. I like their stationary stations/sections a bit everywhere and I love that they have a vast array of books in Mandarin(simplified and traditional, I believe) their "bakery"/sweet bread section is so so, it doesn't look particularly appealing but maybe I could be surprised. Also they have a sort of mini warm food stand with Chinese food like veggies and noodles, even some small soups and shrimps I believe. They also got a mini section with fresh Boba. With various flavors.

The store is huge and has lots of selection of pretty much everything. We shopped there twice, we loved everything except the pastries. The pastries look very appetizing but blunt in taste. We bought 5 different pastries and all were tasteless. Today we bought cream stuffed puffs and they taste like onions. I’m not sure if they used the same board they cut onions on to prepare the pastry dough or the container that cream was made was used for something else before.Definitely not buying pastries there again.
