The prices are disgusting. Even if it puts people back into the job market, they take donations and set prices at a minimum of $20. Like Zara stuff. Check out the renaissance next door. The prices are disgusting. I would at least be happy if the money didn't go to a bigot ceo. Skip it and go to the nearby goodwill.

Don't really recommend going to this place. Prices are high. Some cashiers are rude. Tried returning dinnerware that was fake but they said I can only exchange but no were on the receipt did it say it was finalized. Best to stay away.

Tue Jul 4th - This Salvation Army location Broke the LawThe Consumer Protection Act (French: Loi sur la protection du consommateur) is a Quebec law that gives protection to consumers in dealing with merchants and businesses. It requires merchants to deal honestly in all matters of advertising, and fair contracts.Today, I attempted to buy a book for the displayed sticker price of 5$ - which I verified, for it was placed on the book number of times. When I brought up the book to the cashier - she (glasses and was working the cash at around 15:35) immediately said to me "This book is worth more than 5$, it's 10 or 15$ - if you want cheaper books it is over there *pointed in the direction of where I grabbed the book*" I became puzzled and immediately informed her of the sticker price in numerous areas of the book, which in return resulted in her in pointing at two 5$ stickers and attempted to justify the price. "These types of books are 10+ dollars," I asked her where that information was displayed and she didn't have an answer for me. I then informed her that in Quebec, it's a law to protect consumers and that she should honor the displayed price- "If you guys follow the law you should honor it" which she didn't.I would strongly avoid this location - in fact, there is a Renaissance location just down the street which honors prices.Good day.

Offers a wider price-point range than traditional corporate thrift stores. Quaint, friendly, down to earth. Store layout isn’t excellent.

Insanely overpriced! Everything I picked up was priced 15$ or more even if it had holes and/ or stains.

Laissez faire. Allez au Renaissance juste à côté !

They pack this place with all kinds of junk. Knick-nacks, clothes, books. I come by for the VHS tapes. You're certain to find dusty oddities here. I once found some scrapbooks, all with news clipings of the death of king george VI!

Absolutely wonderful shopping experience. The employees are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. If I could give this place 100 stars I would.
