It was a terrible experience. They charged me nearly $100 for just two hours and driving 30 kilometers! When I picked up the truck, the tank wasn’t full, but unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo. Based on the calculations on their website—where a 10-foot truck supposedly uses 1 gallon of gas per 12 miles—I expected to be charged around $7 for not refilling. Instead, they charged me $36!
The customer service was poor and unresponsive when I called back to resolve this issue. Overall, it was an awful experience, and I won’t be using them again. I could have hired a truck along with someone to help me for half the cost.

The worst.
We booked a one-way truck two months in advance and found out the week before that we would have to drive 2+ hours up to Rivière-Rouge to pick it up. No one even called to warn us, we found out when we checked our booking online. They also failed to provide us with the insurance that we requested, gave us a dolly with a busted tail light and ignored all emails and calls to rectify the problem. It’s been 3 weeks, we still can’t reach anyone from this U-Haul location and the 1-800 customer service number won’t do anything. Why even take the booking if you can’t provide the service?

Not the first time I rent a truck. This time was very frustrating and now I feel intimidated by one staff member when I come to my office space in the same Uhaul building on jean talon West...Just a comment more for the staff involved: the customer is always right... I will be looking for other providers in the future...

Had an experience once where we had reserved a cargo van, but when we reached for our reservation.. there was no van available. The lady at the counter said that she had called us to notify about it (p.s we had no call received). Luckily, we got the van on the spot elsewhere. But it was a terrible experience.

I recently used my local U-Haul, and overall, it was a positive experience. The staff was friendly and efficient, helping me get the right truck for my move. The vehicle was clean and well-maintained, which made the process much smoother.
The only minor issue was the wait time during pick-up, which could have been shorter. However, the convenience and quality of service made up for it. I’d definitely recommend this location for anyone needing a reliable moving option.

I do not recommend this company, a very bad experience throughout the weekend and the offices are closed in addition their application for recovering truck keys is not functional
What happened to me with this company is that I will never forget what caused a lot of delays in moving.

I originally went to this location and dealt with the manager, Shaena. I was seeking advice on which products I needed to purchase to successfully pack a large product that I was getting ready for a purolator pick up. Not only did I get upsold with products I didn't need, but was sold a wardrobe box which was way too big. The manager ensured me not to worry that I can easily go to any Uhaul to return what I don't use or need. When I took the white straps that holds the box together I was then able to see that the cardboard was doubly folded and way too large. When I brought the box back to this store I was told it was not returnable because I removed the white straps that hold it together. This is the equivalent of receiving a product in a closed box. You open the box, and then you're told, no returns because you opend the box. I lodged my complaint with the Uhaul head office on principal. Nobody should have to go through this so my advice is don't bother going to this location, unless you want to be ripped off!
