EDIT*** I reached out by email twice and have received no response. Clearly they don’t prioritize customer service.
Yesterday, I called in advance to ask if I could return a purse I bought at their sidewalk sale. I gave absolutely all the information they needed - sidewalk sale, approximate purchase date, receipt, and happy with store credit. I specifically said that it is very hard for me to come to the store as it will take 1.5 hours there and back and I have a small baby. After asking their manager a few questions the staff member assured me that it would be no problem to return the item for a credit. I was very happy because I would simply buy something different.
When I arrived, the manager on staff said they wouldn’t return it. When I explained that I had come from very far, and that I called in advance to be sure , I was met with a very firm no and asked to wait. The manager told me that the girl was in training and made a mistake. I said that the new girl had told me twice she needed to ask her manager, and came back to the phone and told me it was ok. Because it was a sidewalk sale, they said no. I let them know I had very clearly given that information.
I asked her to please consider at least an exchange while always kind and polite, and she said there was nothing they could do they had made a mistake. I ended up in tears, which staff and clients saw because my baby was upset strapped to me in his carrier, and the long ride home for absolutely nothing awaited me.
I have always been met with kindness at this store but I was shocked at the way I was treated, and for their mistake. It wouldn’t take much for them to have given me a credit. They have lost a lot of business and I will be sharing my experience.

One of the only stores in Montreal where you can find great decor pieces at a reasonable price. The shop is beautifully curated and the staff are great.

Unique selection of décor, kind of makes me feel like I'm at a more tasteful and sophisticated Homesense. Although their furniture is slightly too pricey for me, but the aesthetic is on point and I would find beautiful pieces here that I wouldn't be able to find elsewhere!

Each item I picked up, when I looked at the price tag I thought it was better pricing than you'd find anywhere else. I'm not sure how they afford it, but I'm glad to take advantage of great style at lower than expected pricing.

I discovered the Vivi store, a magnificent place where I found the bed of my dreams (Julia King) after intensive research throughout Montreal. I bought a beautiful cream fabric bed for $1300. Unfortunately, a few months later, a simple water stain enlarged and changed color on the headboard because the fabric turned out to be incompatible with water, information that had never been communicated to me. Despite my efforts to get help, the only solution offered was to buy a new headboard for $600, with no empathy from the store. This dream bed has become a nightmare, causing me anxiety and panic every time I see it, thus ruining all the fun I originally had.

It's great to have a home decor shop nearby. Wide selection of beautiful items. The furniture is high quality. I've bought counter stools & livingroom furniture. Love all of it. Worth every penny! Delivery was seamless.

I bought a vase that was leaking, after calling them to explain the problem, it was replaced with another without problem. Pleasant and efficient service.
