IGA Morin-Heights is described as an absolute gem and the best kept secret in the village. It is a beautiful and clean grocery store, a go-to place for fresh local produce, cheese, wine, great breads, meats, and fish. The employees are consistently noted as really nice, very helpful, and friendly. Specific departments like the meat counter receive praise. The store is considered very lucky to have a great team, with particular appreciation shown for passionate and standout service at specialty stations like the deli. However, some find the layout a little chaotic when shelves are being restocked and note the self-service checkout can be among the most complicated in the region. The prepared food bar is criticized for not being the tastiest. There are also occasional criticisms about advertised products not being in stock. Positive policies, like providing a free item for certain self-checkout errors, contribute to great experiences for customers.
Typical clean I.G.A. fresh produce, meat bread and fish.

Everything you need, plus more. Our go-to when we're in town. Friendly, clean and plenty of choices.

One of the employees (a supervisor I believe) went out of her way by giving me something for free. It’s an IGA policy- if it comes out as an error on the self-checkout, you get it free (less than $10). It made my day! Not to mention with the high costs of living now, it was a great experience 🤗
