“Great place and very clean. It's like a hole in the wall for great Mexican food in Laval. I was curious and stopped off one day, then I enjoyed the food so much I went back with relatives. The food tastes very authentic and fresh. Also the team there are super friendly.”
“Truly an awesome place to pick up quality veggies, meat, cold cuts and other groceries, and i am sure i am not the only one because i see so many locals visiting this place all the time. What i love the most about this place is the quality of meat and professionalism; they are not the cheapest but if you want good quality for the family and get together to bring home; ribs, steaks, any kind of ground meat for stew, sauces and dumplings (yeah i am Asian) this place is it. They have so many good selection of marinated meats, prepacked veggies that are seasoned already, i think it's perfect and you don't have to be a great cook to have great supper at home with their products. They understand exactly what you need and always offer the best service they can. From my personal experience, the rib steaks are one of the best i have ever tasted and the marinated bavette (black garlic..?) is to die for. They also have marinated portuguese chicken using great quality chicken , this cooks amazing in the oven. Sausages are good but need a little bit of improvement as I see them being a bit heavily seasoned (i have tried two kinds so far). Really happy to have this place in the area, please keep it up!!”

“I am a new customer at Avril I wanted specific grocery and protein supplements that I can’t find anywhere else. I live in Montreal and came to the Laval location because it was the closest one to me. I was there Saturday and had started my shopping when I was approached by a man whose name was Joe. He helped me find the supplements and a good protein brand that were on special. He also showed me around the store to familiarize myself for next time. “Perfect family-run Dep in the heart of the neighbourhood. The highlights for me are the pretty good beer selection, the food and the pastry offerings and coffee machine are a particular plus for me. Kind of like a mini grocery store. Cool place, friendly service.

“Do yourself a favor and stop by. I was looking for goat meat at the very last minute for a dinner the next day, and the owner was kind enough to walk me through a few options at a great price.
He promised I’d get meat worth my money and full of flavor, and he absolutely delivered.
My family loved the dish. I honestly haven’t had goat this good in a long time.
On top of that, the leg was cut and cleaned perfectly.

Even though I had misplaced my receipt, the cashier and staff welcomed me with kindness, respect, and genuine professionalism.
