“A boutique with unrivaled charm, Jellycat's treasure island in Montreal and multiple vintage decor curiosities.
The employees are adorable, helpful, which, in these post-pandemic times of generalized disregard for the customer, is a rare commodity in businesses...
Honorable mention to Carolyne who was infinitely patient and all smiles, while my partner and I were discussing how much Jellycat to bring home!?”

“I recently visited Friperie Mystik, a delightful vintage women's thrift shop, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The shop offers an impressive selection of beautiful, high-quality clothes at fair prices, making it a haven for vintage fashion enthusiasts. The owner, Lila, is incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Whether you're searching for a unique statement piece or simply browsing, Mystik is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates vintage style and friendly service. ?”

“Beautiful store, I love going there to find my greeting cards. However, I just witnessed poor customer service from a lady who had a question. The 2 employees at the counter, not knowing the item in question, let him leave frustrated with the service, and adopted a condescending attitude after his departure, while a little initiative and curiosity (google?) from the 2 employees would have left a much better impression on this customer, and on all those who witnessed it.”

“This store is a rare find worth making the trip for. I came for their Baggu selection and was not disappointed. They had a huge selection in new and older prints. Some sale Baggu in the back too. What I was surprised by was the selection of locally made clothing and decor. The clothes are true "slow fashion" that are handmade locally but for reasonable prices ($40-$150). This store is a dreamworld and I know it will be a regular stop for my future trips to Montreal. Don't miss out on a great shopping experience and check out Ex-Voto.”

“I love this store. It's actually one of my favorite places to go for a first date cause there's just so much to see and it's lovely to see how my date interacts with the different rooms and objects. It's also a great place to find clothes.”

“Amazing hidden gem in St-Henri. Went there for vintage prom dresses and found exactly what I wanted. The owner is so lovely and very passionate about what she does. What I love about it is that they're very size inclusive. Everything is undone so they can make future adjustments. Lovely setup too.”

“Highly recommended in the mile end!! Incredible range of vintage clothes (my girlfriend found a Ralph Laurent sweater for $25), a multitude of colorful and different accessories (+/- expensive, it depends on which ones), really cool vibe, I love it?”

“Needed something to wear while staying nearby for a work trip, and messaged them on instagram to see if they could find anything. While i wasn’t able to grab anything from the shop, they were so accommodating and offered to scour their stock to see what they could do to help. Amazing service and very attentive!”

“Emmanuelle, la propriétaire, est définitivement la personne la plus aimante et gentille. Elle offre une écoute et un service incroyable. Et c’est sans parler de sa sélection et ses trouvailles incroyables. Définitivement une boutique haute gamme à découvrir ! Un joyaux de Montréal, qui devrait être un incontournable pour tous les amoureux de la mode.”

“First experience today and I loved it! Nice welcome from the owner, very attentive, explained to me how the shop works. We see that he is proud of what he has built. I was also advised by Lisa, who gave me her opinion on several occasions regarding my choices! Great clothing and accessories. Of course, if you want laundry at very low prices (e.g.: $5-10-20) this is not the place to go. On the other hand, the prices are good considering the excellent quality of the clothes, and you don't need to spend hours looking. I recommend!”

“I love the concept of trading. I’ve been a Shwap club member for years and have found many great pieces! It’s best to go often to find gems, like thrifting it’s natural that some days are less successful! I recommend it to all my friends and any women interested in shopping in an eco-friendly way :)”

“Proud yourself to the electrician.

A Hidden Treasure, this lady is superb & her team is professional. I tell you, the table that beautifies my home is her and the store that gave it to me. This table is incredible.

A great price, I regret nothing.
Thank you so much.!

Finally, some caring people.

5 stars is straight forward.”

“First and last time in this renaissance, not that it isn't nice just that it is far from any metro line. Very few choices of t-shirts which is very unfortunate. A B tier renaissance, too bad, great potential but poorly exploited”

“It's hard not to leave with something, often even items you weren't looking for. All kinds of finds.

Perfect for dressing children at a lower cost when they have had a growth spurt, often with brands and quality.

In addition, it is well sorted, we find a lot of clothes in very good condition, waste is rare.

The store is large and offers a lot of choice.”

“Love this shop! Bought a beautiful pair of leather boots & the prices are very reasonable. My only regret was not buying the Frye Boots he also had for sale. Maybe my next visit to Montreal. If they're still there.”

4 Good71 Reviews

“Super friendly staff! Great ambiance, it’s a big store and without 15-30 minutes you can find a variety of great picks from clothes to outdoor gear to jewelry and accessories and hats! My only complaint comes with the price like most vintage shops like these on St-Denis… it is VERY expensive, walked out with three items for 117$!! Also, very bad parking there are NO spots that’s are free and VERY few that you can find but they’re not free you gotta pay… They have rooms to try on your picks and everything is final sale so make sure your picks fit you.

I recommend checking their socials from time to time because they do eventually get a few days a years where they have discounts that are actually worth it (like on time where everything was 10$ or less). Other wise be ready to spend at least 40$.

So overall for the experience and if you get there by metro, I’d say it’s a 4 stars! Would recommend!”

“A thrift store where prices are actually thrifty. Love to see it. This location didn't have what I was looking for though but the staff was super nice and prices weren't bad.”
