Point Campground Taylor is a quiet, family-friendly campground on the Baie des Chaleur, praised for its superb and exceptional location right next to the very pretty Pointe Taylor park. The large, well-laid-out property offers shaded and sunny sites, with easy accessibility to a rock beach and lovely views of the bay. Guests highlight the very clean restrooms and free showers, a nearby cantine, and the proximity to a large park with a walking trail, unique art installations, and rentals for bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards. The staff is very friendly, and the campground is dog-friendly. While noted as busy but very quiet with magnificent sunsets, some minor downsides include strong winds, very hot restrooms on warm days, and a recommendation for water shoes at the beach. Overall, it is considered a wonderful gem and a great experience.

As a cyclist with tent I appreciated a warm welcome, the quiet shaded site, the clean bathroom, a walk by a lovely view of the bay, and a nearby cantine for my supper. The wind was strong in the night so I need better tent stakes
