The selection of cheeses looks OK, too bad one of the employees is so rude. I politely asked if he could advise me on Quebec cheeses, he sighed and in response told me to step back because I was too close to the counter. Another customer next to me was just as close to the counter, but apparently he had the right? In short, a warm employee who likes new customers!

Varied cheeses, from everywhere and of high quality. A selection that is out of the ordinary and different from what you find elsewhere. I bought the Fleurs d’Alpage cheese from Germany (the best I’ve tasted!), a creamy buttery blue cheese (Blaublüter) and the Rijck 24 months. Delicious!! A magnificent cheese shop, impeccable and friendly service. To adopt!! ❤️

Worse cheese place in the city. They don't know the difference between mozzarella and Swiss cheese. Horrible customer service. Never going back.

Cheese heaven! I found this place by accident and what a wonderful accident. Walk in and let yourself by mesmerized by the aroma of cheese, delectable cheese samples and phenomenal sweets. I have every purchase I've made in the store. I highly recommend their quebecios goat cheese, aged swiss gruyer and French brie. I also took a surprise piece in every trip to the store: a new cheese that I hadn't tasted before until that day. You will never run out of options. No matter what time of the year it is, you will find and learn about some hem of a cheese. Yannick has been cheese heaven for me truly. The owner is one of the nicest people I've ever met in Montreal, and I think that adds something to the overall experience. It made me want to drive to rue Bernard every time in a heart beat. A must try!

A regular stop when I am hosting a big dinner or want to offer a variety of cheese to my guests. Very interesting selection, friendly service, and great cheese. It's a small shop so it can get crowded.

Selection & service! They aren't exactly giving the cheese away, but you don't go bargain-hunting in Outremont.

A good boutique cheese shop with personal service and cheese selection that is somewhat more unique and higher end than most larger places.

Don't be put off by the space's boutique ambiance and the fact that there's no self-service, the staff are generally very friendly and they can be very generous with samples (the regulars don't even start deliberating until they've tasted four or five cheeses, so don't be embarrassed to ask). The best thing about Yannick is that they're expert in offering cheeses right at the height of perfection. By all means, don't miss their lait cru Vacherins during the short (but sweet) season. Specialists in French and Québécois cheeses, with some Spanish, Dutch, and Italian cheeses thrown in for good measure. Pricey, but highly recommended.
