“I just received my very first tarantula—a gorgeous Mexican Red Knee—and I couldn't be happier with the experience! She arrived in perfect condition, packaged with incredible care and obvious expertise.
She settled into her new home right away, is doing absolutely fantastic, and is already very enthusiastic about her crickets! Thank you so much, Tarantula Canada, for this gorgeous girl. I highly recommend them to anyone, especially first-time keepers looking for a healthy, beautifully cared-for pet!”
“Since the store opened, Marc and his team have gone above and beyond to help their customers. I personally have spoken to Marc about food choices and most recently solutions for barking. He has always been very knowledgeable, has taken time to listen and has always been kind. It’s a standard that he sets and expects from his staff as well.
For example, when I buy a big bag of dog food, Marc makes sure to carry it out to the car or gets one of his employees to do it. This type of extra service is not often found anymore and is the reason I go back. It’s the friendly, small town service that I remember having growing up but unfortunately is harder to find these days.”

“This was a great store. The owners are super nice. The store was very interesting with exotic animals like turtles, iguanas, bearded dragons, and rare reptiles. Chris and other staff were very friendly and shared their love and knowledge of all the animals. Will definately be back. A really nice dog named Loki greets you as you come in.”

“Always friendly and willing to help. Knowledgeable is an understatement. If you’ve have a bad experience here, the problem is most likely you. I drive from ville St-Laurent to come to this location and the rating on google speaks for itself.”
“The staff is so friendly and kind! There is so much to look at and the prices are also very reasonable. They always have water and treats for your furry friends when you walk by!”
“I love this place. Everyone here is kind, especially Mr. Rock. He knows how to handle my little Teddy. He's a pro at trimming Teddy's nails, even when Teddy doesn't want them trimmed. I love Teddy's excitement when I tell him we're going to Rock's. Thank you so much, Rock, you're a true professional.🙏”
“Super friendly staff. Offered to help what I was looking for and when I couldn't remember what that was, offered to check in the purchase history to confirm.”
“I had such a great experience with Shakira! She groomed my two dogs, Louis and Fendi I couldn't be happier with the results. She was so patient, caring, and gentle with them, and you can tell she truly loves what she does.
They came back looking absolutely adorable, smelling amazing, and were happy and comfortable. It's not easy finding someone you trust with your pets, but I felt completely at ease leaving them with her.
I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, kind, and talented groomer. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Louis and Fendi 🐶❤”
“The staff here is always fantastic, knowledgeable, and deserving of five stars — but after today, that still doesn’t feel like enough.
Melina deserves the very best and all the success in the world. I came in overwhelmed and barely holding it together, and she met me with patience, kindness, and genuine compassion. She listened, reassured me, and gave me the space to break down without ever making me feel like I was too much.
Her empathy meant more to me than I can put into words. In a moment when I truly felt like I was drowning, Melina was exactly the person I needed. Thank you, Melina — truly. ❤”

“Highly recommended for pet supplies of any need! There was a great selection, and the personnel are absolutely first-rate. I wanted to obtain a special needs food for my cat that was very difficult to find without committing to buying an entire case from a special order. This store was willing to order the case for me and allow me to purchase one can just to see if my cat would like the food first. I would not think twice about traveling here from Montreal to shop for my pet.”
“This Mondou may be small, but it’s such a cozy little store. The employees are always friendly, greet us with a smile, and are incredibly helpful whenever we need anything. We always have a great experience here. Honestly, I’d say this is the best Mondou in Laval!”
“Good place to find food and toys for your pet. Staff was as always kind and useful. New location of the shop is as good as the old one, just a little bit more hidden, meaning is not visible from the road.”
