“Except that I don't like their ''music CD'' and that it's too loud from the speaker directly to the ladies' room, (the sound too loud, I told an employee) the variety is here! Their size is average but there is a lot of choice. There is more quality in textiles because now everything is too thin and stretchy only. But in that period of my life, it was more for decorations that I was looking for. Frames and lots of small storage blocks were found there. Thank you to the people of the village of Pointe-Aux-Tremble! I almost never throw anything away. What I don't want anymore, it always goes back to the Renaissance or to another donation box like in my past, never in the trash! Also the ''Boutique'' display with bottles of luxury treatments is comforting.”

“the vibes of this shop are super cool. they have an array of denim; overalls, jeans, jackets, carhartt and levi’s and more. insane selection of vintage grandpa sweaters, hawaiian shirts, button ups, cargos, skirts, and more. the prices are fair for the most part.. a few items are marked up but they do seem to be vintage resellers so it makes sense. overall i love this shop and i wish i lived in the area so that i could visit more!”

“A boutique with unrivaled charm, Jellycat's treasure island in Montreal and multiple vintage decor curiosities.
The employees are adorable, helpful, which, in these post-pandemic times of generalized disregard for the customer, is a rare commodity in businesses...
Honorable mention to Carolyne who was infinitely patient and all smiles, while my partner and I were discussing how much Jellycat to bring home!?”

“This store is a rare find worth making the trip for. I came for their Baggu selection and was not disappointed. They had a huge selection in new and older prints. Some sale Baggu in the back too. What I was surprised by was the selection of locally made clothing and decor. The clothes are true "slow fashion" that are handmade locally but for reasonable prices ($40-$150). This store is a dreamworld and I know it will be a regular stop for my future trips to Montreal. Don't miss out on a great shopping experience and check out Ex-Voto.”

“This iconic shop has been a go-to of mine for more than 30 years. The little shop has all sorts of eras of clothes to choose from at prices that cannot be beat. The lady who runs it is wonderful and will always make you feel welcome as you browse through the seemingly endless inventory of clothes, jewelry, home goods and hats.”

“I really liked the store, several brand-name and second-hand clothes of course, good atmosphere inside. This is a good option for those who like designer clothing.”

“The best second hand store in Montreal!! Amazingly curated every week, I ALWAYS find gems to take home. Affordable designer pieces and handmade pieces from local artists, if you're looking for a good secondhand store search no more + staff is very helpful and down to earth!”

“Highly recommended in the mile end!! Incredible range of vintage clothes (my girlfriend found a Ralph Laurent sweater for $25), a multitude of colorful and different accessories (+/- expensive, it depends on which ones), really cool vibe, I love it?”

“Such a great find. I love the use of upcycling to make unique items and supporting a local business. Also the owner is super informative and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.”

“First experience today and I loved it! Nice welcome from the owner, very attentive, explained to me how the shop works. We see that he is proud of what he has built. I was also advised by Lisa, who gave me her opinion on several occasions regarding my choices! Great clothing and accessories. Of course, if you want laundry at very low prices (e.g.: $5-10-20) this is not the place to go. On the other hand, the prices are good considering the excellent quality of the clothes, and you don't need to spend hours looking. I recommend!”

“A thrift store where prices are actually thrifty. Love to see it. This location didn't have what I was looking for though but the staff was super nice and prices weren't bad.”

“It's hard not to leave with something, often even items you weren't looking for. All kinds of finds.

Perfect for dressing children at a lower cost when they have had a growth spurt, often with brands and quality.

In addition, it is well sorted, we find a lot of clothes in very good condition, waste is rare.

The store is large and offers a lot of choice.”

“First and last time in this renaissance, not that it isn't nice just that it is far from any metro line. Very few choices of t-shirts which is very unfortunate. A B tier renaissance, too bad, great potential but poorly exploited”

“Super friendly staff! Great ambiance, it’s a big store and without 15-30 minutes you can find a variety of great picks from clothes to outdoor gear to jewelry and accessories and hats! My only complaint comes with the price like most vintage shops like these on St-Denis… it is VERY expensive, walked out with three items for 117$!! Also, very bad parking there are NO spots that’s are free and VERY few that you can find but they’re not free you gotta pay… They have rooms to try on your picks and everything is final sale so make sure your picks fit you.

I recommend checking their socials from time to time because they do eventually get a few days a years where they have discounts that are actually worth it (like on time where everything was 10$ or less). Other wise be ready to spend at least 40$.

So overall for the experience and if you get there by metro, I’d say it’s a 4 stars! Would recommend!”

“There are thousands of things at very good prices. It is very large and has a lot of variety for women, men, children and home.

Arrive early and on restocking days. There you could find the good.

Ask for your card at the checkout so you can accumulate points and have some benefits.

In this store I found some chargers that I couldn't find anywhere else in Montreal and they were super cheap.”
