I recently visited the Apple Store at Fairview Pointe-Claire to pick up a replacement Mac after multiple repairs. While the initial paperwork went smoothly, things took a disappointing turn when I was told that the original box had to be kept to return the defective device. This requirement wasn’t communicated beforehand, causing unnecessary inconvenience. When I asked if I could return the next morning with the box, they refused, stating that they needed to ship it first thing in the morning. However, no postal service operates that early, which added to the confusion and frustration.
Additionally, when I called Apple Support to explain the situation, they were surprised and had never encountered such a scenario before. They contacted the store, and the store explained that it was a special situation, which was why they had to proceed this way.
Moreover, the staff opened and unboxed the new Mac for me, which completely ruined the excitement of experiencing that first unboxing myself. I had to go home, retrieve the original box, and return to the store, making the entire process feel more like a hassle than a helpful service.
Overall, the experience was disappointing. While the staff was polite, clearer communication and a more customer-friendly approach would have made a huge difference.

Went to get my back screen replaced and while there George the technician who was serving me did a series of tests and found other problems, i came in at 2:00 on monday when they close at 6:00 and due to an issue out of their control he finished working on my phone at 6:10 and even help me set it up afterwards, by far my best experience at any Apple store, his customer service was top notch he kept coming out to update me on the time it would take. GEORGE 11/10 rating

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this Apple Store. The service was beyond disappointing. I had to wait a really long time before anyone even came to help me, and when someone finally did, they left me alone for more than 25 minutes each time with no explanation. They didn’t seem interested in actually helping me at all, they just made me restart my phone multiple times and go through the whole setup process from A to Z, only for it to still not work in the end. It was a complete waste of my entire day. Everyone there (the employees) seemed more focused on chatting with each other than helping customers. They clearly saw me waiting for a long time and just ignored me. Totally unprofessional, lazy, and full of excuses. I will never be coming back to this Apple Store again, and I do not recommend it to anyone. Horrible service from start to finish!

BAD EXPERIENCE. I bought an iPhone 16 Pro 4 months ago and have constant Bluetooth and network issues. After multiple resets and troubleshooting, Apple diagnostics said everything was fine — but the problems persist. When I went back, support asked me to reset again, which I refused. Apple used to stand behind their products, but now their support feels unreliable.

After attempting a reset on my iPad, it froze and I decided to go to the Apple Store in Pointe Claire Fairview Shopping Center.
I was attended by Davinder, who whilst also very kind to an 86yrs old, completely resolved my problem as well as restored extra storage…this young man deserves nothing but my outmost gratitude for a job well done..👏

I called the Apple Store at Fairview to follow up on an online order and was extremely disappointed with the service I received. The person who answered the phone did not provide her name and refused to do so when asked—a basic courtesy and essential for any customer service interaction.
Her dismissive and indifferent attitude was unacceptable and not what I expect from a brand like Apple. It felt as though customer care was the last thing on her mind. Apple may make great products, but experiences like this seriously undermine the brand’s reputation.
I’ve requested a callback from her supervisor and hope Apple takes this seriously. Let’s see if the follow-up reflects the standards Apple claims to uphold.
