The manager at this store racially profiled a young BIPOC man (my student) and refused to accept his return of unworn shoes, only then to accept them without question when his white mother took the same shoes in moments later. That manager should lose her job. It was that innocent young man’s first experience with unvarnished racism. Shame on you, Browns Shoes.

LITERALLY WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Go to any other shoe store than this one, they don’t care about their jobs whatsoever. Stuck up prissy customer service (when you can get it), and then if you actually even buy something they’re not even intelligent enough to put the shoe laces in properly! They were as if a preschool kid laced them! And PLEASE give it a rest with the stupid shoe protectant spray… nobody wants it nobody cares, stop forcing it upon people.

Worst experience and customer service ever at the Fairview location. I’ve never been to a Browns and had such an awful experience. The cashiers and the manager of the day ( Red hair girl) clearly do not care about the customer experience. Such a shame.

Madina gave me great service. It's difficult for me to find comfortable and stylish shoes. I tried 7 pairs and some with different sizes. She was very patient, knew her stock well and always remained smiling and friendly. Hey boss give her a raise she deserves it.

The service is amazing! They went out of their way (Nicolas, Mo and the whole team) to make sure that my shoes arrive before I leave to the airport on the day of my travel. They sourced the shoes from two different stores in the Montreal area to ensure that I am satisfied! Thank you for the amazing service.

I was looking for a white pair of running shoes and found the HOKA clifton 9 which were ideal for my feet. The sales lady offered me the *gel cleaner for all athletic footwear* and told me that its meant for *all around the shoe*. A week later, I had a small mud stain so I used the cleaning product as recommended by the salesperson. The gel manipulated the mesh fabric on top of my shoe and left a big dirty spot that did not want to come off. I went back to the store and asked for the manager and told him the story. He said I can exchange for a new pair but they were completely out of stock so I was left returning the shoes and getting my money back. The sales lady who sold me the shoes heard what has happened and with no empathy she just shrugged her shoulders with no words and no care, however, she seemed very tired, muddled and indolent so it may explain her carelessness. Overall, management was fair but beware of any sales pitch for cleaning products and how they are meant to be used.
