“Walking into Sweet Safeguard Confections feels like stepping directly into a bright, sugary fever dream—and it easily earns every single star. The shelves are packed to the ceiling with nostalgic penny candy, imported chocolates, and giant artisanal gummies. Everything smells like warm vanilla and sour apple, creating an instant serotonin hit the second you cross the threshold.”

“It has a lot of sweets, chocolates, teas, jams and so much more. ??????? british food, buttons, and flakes... Best british chocolates to try At christmas they sell Christmas Stockings, which is from when I was young and living in the UK. The stocking would be under the tree filled with chocolate and sweets. Brings back memories going to Ryan's. It's awesome”

“Very friendly staff. You can sign up on the spot for their loyalty program and receive a welcome discount on your first purchase. They'll send you occasional emails to tell you about sales and member-only promotions. If you can't get to their storefront, you can order online. Free shipping with $50 purchase, or at least it was in a recent email. The modest store space is jam packed with products. If you see something you are interested in but it is crowded, there may be a similar display further back in the store, for their most popular and seasonal items. There are two self-serve bulk bin areas which I like to for when we are having a party. So many flavors. So hard to choose!”

“Laura Secord is not something that is common in Ontario so when I saw it on the map on my way out of Montreal, I made sure we came through because I wanted to have my super kid scoop. Customer service is great, ice cream tasted fresh and now it just makes me crave super kid more and more”
