It's July 9, 2024, I bought a pair of Wonders brand shoes on sale yesterday at the Modanessa boutique in Pointe-Claire. I really fell in love. I decide to wear them this morning and after a few hours (3 hours, the shoes started to tear on the sides, near the seam (I had the shoes in my possession for less than 24 hours): the woven straw rises from all sides). The saleswoman was extremely friendly and told me she would have to call to find out what the solution was. The decision-maker at Modanessa informed me that the solutions were either a replacement (which doesn't interest me because it risks starting again), another pair of shoes (I don't have another favorite) or a credit note valid for one year, which would have to be renewed if I haven't found what I'm looking for in the store by then. ACCORDING TO HER, REIMBURSEMENT IS NOT A VALID OPTION. No need to tell you that I am not satisfied with this answer. This was the first time I purchased from this store, and I can assure you it was also the last. I feel held hostage with my $200.

Would like to give a shout out to the wonderful staff Howard and Sigalet. They were so sensitive, understanding and supportive of a a new customer (senior's) visit. They went out of the way to ensure comfort, even meeting them at the door and escorting them to the store. The senior loves the shores and the staff! 10/10 All the recommendations were true, please go here , it's a wonderful owner-run business where they truly care about you!

Convenient store!
Long time I was looking for an hood insole in rubber boots. I found great orthopedic insoles in this store, my feet just rest in these shoes now. This store has everything you need to take care of your shoes and even more.

Really enjoyed shopping here. Nice qualities and fashionable of shoes, sweaters and coats. Outside the store, all shoes are half price, and still excellent qualities of shoes. The gentleman who helped me was friendly and helpful. Wish them all the success.

The owner was very unfriendly and didn’t really wanted to help to find right shoes. Inpatient and prefers to work with my husband thinking probably that men buy faster and easier than women ?. However I needed good shoes, not him…After one unsuccessful trial of the shoes and her frustrated face we left the shop.Never again I will go there!

The prices of Modanessa in Pointe Claire Plaza is very high!
The lady who is the owner and some of her clerks are really rude even to their returning customers! It's interesting that this lady put some great reviews for her own store!!! I decided to go and spend my money else where.

Very unpleasant people. Just want your money and be done with you! I have never witnessed such horrendous customer service. No refunds, credit note only lasts 3 months. I dont have the words to describe how bad this experience was. Dont put yourself through it, stay well clear

We did deposit on special command. After one month without delivery, we voided the command. However they refused to return the 50$ deposit. We lost and we will never go again there.
