“This is my favourite spot to go to service is awesomeIf you want my advice, try the Jacob's Creek double barrel wine, red wine if you like red wine. It's about 20 bucks and it's freaking awesome. The 19 crimes wine is good too. It's Australian as well. Excellent wine. The 19 crimes either or the sovino or the Shiraz. They're both really really good and the rum. The year old Bacardi is awesome, straight or mixed. Don't forget to get some Jack Daniels the honey flavored one is really good and you could chase that with some rum and cokes. So yeah the one in doraville has good choice. The SAQ and darling is pretty much the best. They have the best staff there. They always help you the polite at the cash and there's a cute girl that works there. That's really friendly, knowledgeable stuff. I would recommend going there. I do all the time sick my favorite place. That's about it so go there. Don't wait. It's the doorbell shops on doorbell avenue. It's in the mall there in the back. All right. Go now”

“This outlet usually has a wide variety of excellent wines & spirits to select from. The SAQ App also makes it easy to know that a favorite product is in stock. Staff are always available and several are very knowledgeable about the products carried. Particularly if they have personally tried a wine you’re interested in trying for the first time. Disappointed when one (1) particular US wine continues to be out of stock when it is always plentiful at the LCBO in Toronto.”

“July 19th 2023I had such a good experience this time! I changed my rating because of her.She was so helpful and kind and patient and very welcoming. This time I didn't know what I wanted and she was nice enough to listen and search and give me a recipe for a cocktail and all based on a flavor I told her I'm searching for when making a cocktail.Then she gave me and a couple of others a little tasting!And the cashier was also sweet and kind and patient, didn't rush me away!Old reviewI was so irritated by the cashier. I get there with my choice. I feel rushed because she's talking to the other cashier. She scans the bottle asks for the method of payment. I tell her wait I have my inspire card. Then she again asks for my method of payment. I put my bag on the counter to search for my cc. She doesn't move my bottle back and it falls because of my bag. And then she's like ok bye. For the next client in line. let me put my bottle away first... I was so angry. “Anyone visiting an SAQ pretty much knows what to expect - from the size of the store to the types of best-sellers. What's important to me is how well-informed the staff are and how friendly and helpful. After all, they may not have the exact brand you're looking for, but they can offer insight into what they do have. At the same time, a helpful -but not overbearing- employee makes all the difference between a casual browsing for something new to a quick run-in for a specific bottle. For this reason I've gone out of my way to visit this store as opposed to any closer to where I live. During Covid, I found that the store kept things clean and moving (wiping carts, maintaining the required number of browsers, etc)- their processes never impacted any of my visits and I felt safe in relation to the other customers.”

“This SAQ is conveniently located on Boul St-Jean in DDO and open till 10pm every night 7 days a week but I find the selection is limited compared to its SAQ Boul. St-Charles location which has a little bit of a better variety and usually a more friendly customer service staff.I buy rum and wine mostly and I find the selection for both items is somewhat better in the Kirkland boul. St-Charles location. They are both SAQ Express open late(10pm) every night but if you are equally close to both as I am, then definitely go to the Boul St-charles one where even the customers are a bit more civilized. ?Often the Boul. St-Jean one is filled with a loud younger party style clientele especially closer to closing time. You will often find people parked right in front of the door being loud and you may find there is sometimes a small lineup to get to the cash.I would also recommend getting yourself the points card the SAQ offers, if you use it every time you'll be surprised on the savings it can bring you after only a few uses.You can also find the 'coup de coeur' labels you'll see posted under different products, this is also a good way to discover new products that are suggested by staff members with their first name written on the card that actually tried those products and deemed them worthy of mention for the customers to enjoy as well.Of course this goes without mention but always remember to drink responsibly and when you do drink don't take unnecessary chances and let someone else drive who didn't drink or call an Uber to arrive safely at your destination.”
