Poor service , staff is not helpful and the woman at the service was 50 years old talking about me behind my back after i left a piece of clothing i did not want to buy because it was in the sale section and not on sale im sorry i didnt know that .99 at the end means your never going to get it on sale , and no one was around to help so i did not want to walk all the way to the other side were olsen is to put it away so i left it on the counter and the lady said " very respectful of you" in a sarcastic tone while she was talking to another co worker. Never again !!!

It’s unfortunate this store is definitely going on the down side. Horrible wait time at the register. False advertising. I will try to avoid in the future.

Be careful! They do not tell you the return policies when you purchase the items. They are quick to convince you to buy a final sale product. Bought a fragrance, they didnt tell me the return policy and when I checked online and on the bill it didnt say you couldn’t return it if you openned it. Tried to return it the next day and was denied the return while if I bought it at Sephora they would of accepted the return. Dont get fooled, go somewhere else. They will lose all their business with their bad customer service.

Bought boots less than 2 months ago . The boots were expensive and the heel came off the leather . I came to ask for the manager and the manager refused to exchange , give me a credit nor give me my money back . I did not have a receipt because it has been a while but I had proof of purchase on credit card . She refused to even check on her computer . I’ve worked at a cash before and I know it’s very possible to print out using the invoice number . Customer service was horrible and for what I paid at la baie the service is 0. I’m very disappointed in how I was treated . A large company like la baie should have a better return policy and better choose their staff . I was shopping for shoes and because of what happened I totally changed my mind about buying anything ever again from la baie .

Anna is not a professional manager,I came to the store to return a sweater, the tags were on, just asked to exchange the size. The manager Anna refused because I didn't have a bill. I had my credit card plus my statement and she still refused. For a size??? Seriously how ridiculous. Wow, tell me if that's logical? A size.

Today (16th December 2023) I was at the Bay. (Fairview mall point clair)Chanel counter.The Bay needs to get some sales staff.Who value their customer's.(three sales persons in total) one was already serving a customer.The Asian sales person N the other older sales person looked at me like they are giving me free stuff. Answering my question with passive aggressiveness. It was like they expected me to buy as soon as I walked in to the counter, or get the hell out of here kind of attitude, not willing to help. Halfway my question she just left not even excuses. I just stood there not knowing what was happening.just then the one who was serving the customer came to me N offered to help. She knew how to greet N smile. I was surprised atleast one staff was nice.Other two didn't even know how to Smile atleast with me.may be they looked at my skin colour N judged.I bought just one item from Chanel N headed to Sephora where the customer's are welcome with a smile N served with care.Bay needs to train their staff to be of better service, at least be polite, N teach them to smile. after all it is the customer's who keep the shop open despite the colour of the skin they pay the same price for what they buy.I have been a Bay customer for more than 25 years.looks like the Bay days are coming to an end.

Today my mother and I walked in the store at 8:40ish pm and by 8:55 pm was sent bouncing from one cash register to the next because every single one of your clerks had refused to process 2 dresses we wanted to buy under pretext that their « register was closed »… I’d like to emphasize that it was not 9 pm yet… we arrived at your last register, unfortunately for us it was already 9:03 pm… being reasonable, you tell yourself it’s only two dresses I’ll come back tomorrow and let it go…But this nasty lady at the perfume stand looked at me up and down before, like the rest of your employees, claiming that she had already closed her register after finishing up with another customer. Passing her by looking for a way out at 9:03 pm, my mother asked her which door was open and that perfume clerk did not look up because she had just started counting her cash. I proceed to repeat my mothers question twice until I finally earned her acknowledgement, looks at my face with a condescending smile and points at the back door. If one day I’m in the mood for some lack of common courtesy and passive aggressiveness I can visit your Bay.

i was at the baie today in shoe section, every worker was surprisingly very helpful except this one worker. Sanaa, constant dirty looks, very unhelpful i did not appreciate it whatsoever i would not recommend going to see her when coming here!!

Our family favourite store!! Best employee service and amazing sales every day!!! Wednesday is our favorite time to visit in the evening!! Trystan in the women’s department is absolutely helpful and kind The Bay is lucky to have such amazing employees!! Thank you for bringing in cool marks for teens!!

Returned my items within an hour of purchasing them but the cashier failed to give me my money back. Had the receipt saying the transaction went through, also showed her my credit card statement showing the payment.She insisted that the transaction had not gone through, and that the pending payment was only temporary.However, expectedly, the payment DID go through…Tried calling them on the phone but no one picked up. Not setting a foot in there once I get my money back. Worst service ever.Update:Visited the store 2 weeks ago and to show the same cashier that the transaction went through, along with the receipts. She brought her manager to take a look (she was still insisting the transaction is probably pending when it had gone through weeks ago...). Manager told me that the receipt would be sent to audit and I would get a reply within 5-10 business days. It has been more than 10 business days and I still have no reply. I emailed the manager as well, but of course she did not reply. It has been roughly 3 weeks now that La baie Pointe Claire failed to return my money back. Assuming this is not on purpose, failing to return a clients' money within that timeframe is a clear sign of incompetency.
