Marché Jean Talon is a large flea market and clearance center with a very special atmosphere. It features several shops and many kiosks selling used items and antiques, with very low prices and good prices for some items. You can find everything, including things you aren't looking for. There are lots of merchants inside, but the weekend outdoor tables are a key feature where people can really find everything. The area becomes lively with events. The people are friendly. Note that many places are cash-only, though an ATM is available. There is a large parking lot, but it is too crowded on weekends; weekdays are much easier.
