15 Fort St, Québec CityWe popped in since we were staying at the Château Frontenac and it was fairly busy because of the upcoming St. Patrick’s day parade. The staff were very accommodating as we had a sleeping baby in a stroller and made it very easy for us to sit and grab a quick lunch.
We menu is interesting enough. Very heavy, for the most part, but broad enough. My only disappointment was no children’s menu. Even just a small portion of salad with a sliced chicken breast would have worked well. But we were able to manage.
Our food was fine. I had a chicken sandwich that was nicely prepared and had interesting flavors. My husband had a poutine bowl that he really enjoyed and I agree, the sauce was excellent. I wasn’t overly impressed with my cocktail but that’s fine. It was still barely noon :)
We’d stop in here again if we were in the area and needed something quick. Particularly because the staff were so great.
