The only grocery store in the neighborhood and they take advantage of it. It is excessively expensive, the selection of fruits and vegetables is poor. The employees are really nice, other than that, it's a place to avoid. We can't wait for another grocery store within walking distance to open and compete with Jobidon. For now, whenever I can, I take the car and go somewhere else. It's a shame, a grocery store that does its business in a respectful manner is the only thing missing in Limoilou.

:THE BAKERY IS TO BE AVOID, if you want the truth, here it is. I worked there and the desserts are far from fresh. For example, the squares have been frozen since November and taste like they were frozen. Everything is prepared a long time in advance, and to tell you the truth, the whipped cream can sit on our counter for a whole day before being used. So any dessert with whipped cream should be avoided at all costs. The 8 inch subs are actually just stretched 6 inch subs. Nothing is fresh. They make your cheese rolls on an often dirty counter, and the containers we make your breads or marble cakes in are never, ever, ever cleaned. Every time there is an incident and something falls on the ground, they don't throw it away, but sell it.When they undo the pallets, they come and touch your bread. You should see in the basement where your breads are stored before being put on the shelves. In all honesty, I've seen employees lick their fingers and then touch the cookies that go into your desserts, or lick their fingers full of whipped cream to make your yoyos. Bacteria are at your doorstep. So the next time you eat a square or yoyo, think of someone who licked their fingers right before handling the cookie. And think about your breads that were stored on dirty wooden pallets before being put on the shelves. Personally, I would never have purchased any product from this place where I worked. I would rather starve than eat something from this department. The conditions are often dangerous, because in the freezer, the boxes are stacked above our heads, and very often, we could only enter the freezer from CoteAnd I wanted to point out that the prices at the bakery are $3 to $4 more expensive like the St Donat tarts which are $10 to $13 anywhere else regardless of the kind they are $8 there are the Franky bagels which are 2.50 more expensive than the other places the St Viateurs bagels 3.50 more expensive the nan bread as well as the tortilla breads 3.90 more expensive than the places I could continue Their muffins $3 more At the price which is returned to the grocery store if necessary no longer pay more for items that are already expensive elsewhere, that's really the height of it, I invite you to go to another bakery to avoid the absurdities of the excess price. As for the butchery, they have very good prices. the service is unparalleled, the friendly butcher meets your expectations

Fewer and fewer “Our Compliments” products are available at this grocery store. I bought the soy sauce, fries, etc. Affordable options are rare. It would be the least we could do to increase the selection of affordable products in these times of rising costs of living rather than the opposite.

Beautiful little neighborhood grocery store that we wouldn't do without in Limoilou. Essential for neighborhood life and to do without the car. All the basic elements are there.

So expensive for such small quantities. What a scam! I find it incredible every time I visit. I only go to the IGA when I'm missing one or two items because it's near my house (1-2 times a month) and I feel victimized every time. I hate going there.
