We bought some snacks for my daughter. the Cashier was smiling. we don't speak French, We informed and the Cashier was very helpful doing the transactions smooth. but the customer who was behind probably local, came and told us "if i ever see you again, it will be a problem". (watch out for racist people in that area)

What about a gas station? Gas is expensive... the station is Clean. The cashier is smiling. There aren't as many discounts on stuff to eat as in a late night resort.
