I have been visiting this grocery store regularly for several years now. I can count on my fingers the number of times the old ladies at the checkout have given me good service.
Having worked in customer service for years, I know what I'm talking about.
No eye contact, no hello, small talk while they serve at the cash register, and informal greetings to me when I see you.
Do you know why?
Because I look young, when we are young, we are not entitled to the same quality of service as adults who, however, are right next to us in line to pay.
My money is not worth less than that of the father of the family who comes to buy groceries, so it is not up to me to initiate the conversation and be at least polite, if I speak, I am spoken to, and I want a hello.
You ladies lack professionalism.

There's never anything. The prices are exorbitant. Seriously, it's just a big convenience store that opens later. Sometimes even the convenience store has better deals.

I went to the IGA to buy chicken legs.When I got home and opened the chicken it was expired. An unbearable smell, the bone was dark gray. Now I understand why there were (special) tights.Honestly, the product is not even fresh at the IGA. This isn't the first time this has happened to me.Other IGAs have much more product and costs.In this one we don't even force ourselves.

This is the worst grocery in the area. It's always badly stocked and I've been sold moldy produce and meats past their prime several times over. Everything is also wildly over priced for sub par ingredients that are NEVER fresh.
