Following my visit to the Planète Haute-Fidélité show at the Montreal Audiofest, I was very interested in purchasing a pair of Martin-Logan electrostatic loudspeakers. So I headed to their store to listen to it. I was very impressed, not only with the sound of the speakers, but also with the welcome and service I received. Christian took the time to install me in one of his sound rooms, taking care to connect the speakers to an integrated amplifier identical to mine and a network player of equivalent quality to the one I own and left me in control of his reader on his Tidal subscription! I loved it. Afterwards, we discussed the speakers, how to position them etc... and also music and painting... I love the paintings that decorate its rooms.
I have been a music and audio enthusiast for over forty years. Over the years, I have visited audio stores and purchased devices from them. If I had a rating to give on my purchasing experience at Planète Haute-Fidelité, out of 10 I would give at least 12! Christian has just acquired a new client....

An exceptional and ideal place for everyone who wants to launch into the world of high quality or very high quality high fidelity, or to upgrade an existing system. The store is full of high-end and very high-end equipment and many brands and models are present. Christian the owner is passionate about music and his advice is very objective. He opened the doors for me to listen to speakers, in this case the FOCAL Kanta n°2, knowing full well that I would not buy them from him because I was just on vacation in Montreal. I had a great time in the store. And if you decide to invest in a vinyl turntable, Christian has a beautiful collection of vinyls for several hours of listening.

A great shopping experience! Christian took the time to answer our questions and we were able to compare various speakers and amplifiers. We brought home a sound system that meets our needs, but more importantly our ears. Christian respected our budget, we asked him not to know the price of the components so as not to influence our decision. In the end, we talked about music and sound preference and not the technical aspects of the components. I will return without hesitation to Planète Haute Fidélité for my future purchases.

I was looking for Martin Logan speakers and I was hesitating between the Motion Foundation F2 and Motion F20. I came across the Planète Haute-Fidélité website. I called and Christian answered. He was very courteous, listened carefully to what I wanted and offered to go and listen to the 2 models. Arriving at Planète Haute-Fidélité, I was greeted with respect and as if I were a long-time customer. Christian set everything up with the 2 models and gave me a tablet so I could put on the music of my choice and he told me to take my time. I started with the Foundation F2s then Christian came to change the speakers for the Motion F20s. Wow, he didn't put any pressure, gave me time to listen to the 2 models and when I finished listening, I went to see him and we talked. After the discussion I opted for the F20s and took a Foundation F1 as center speaker. I had no pressure to take the F20s which were more expensive, I had very good advice on the differences. I recommend Planète Haute-Fidélité without hesitation if you want to have good audio advice and be welcomed by a professional and human person. They have fair and competitive prices and there will be no pressure to push you towards the most expensive item models.I will undoubtedly return there during my next purchases.

A super place to visit, to listen to top quality hi-fi gear. Outside the big city centres, this place is unique and appeals to the passionate music listener. Service from two experts, from advice to repairs.They have expanded the floor area now, in no insignificant way - with three listening areas, it's deeply impressive for a buyer to witness. Go see it!

Amazing experience!! I only have good comments to give. I have no knowledge of turntables and was taken by the hand to educate me on the subject. I recommend a visit to everyone, it's worth the detour... for all people serious about their music!!
