Came at 5:30 to order a single poke bowl, only to be told they didn't have time, despite there being 3 of them behind the counter and only 3 other people waiting for their order. Not even an "ah it's going to be x minutes", but a simple refusal to take this order. I had to take something already prepared in the fridge. I go to other sushi shops 1-2x a week for work and this has never happened to me before.

After being turned away from a Sushi Shop at a different location with no other customers in the restaurant because there was only 1 employee and told us it would be a 45mins wait with all the online orders… my daughters asked to go to another location. We walked into this Sushi Shop around 4pm on the same day and there was 3 employees working, but as we were looking at the menu was told that they would only start making our order after 1 hour and 30 mins! There was only 1 other customer in the restaurant. This makes no sense! Why are there tables in this place if they will make you wait up to an hour and a half for your order in person. It’s too bad because we love going to Sushi Shop but seems it’s a take out only establishment now.
