I had not inquired about the prices before making my tire change appointment on mags (my mistake in the first place), bill of $150 to change 17" tires vs. $100 in the vast majority of others nearby garages. Keurig coffee is complimentary and your appointment will not be early. He gives you a 15% coupon for your next visit because the first visit is very profitable. Foul ball as they say! Call to get a price, a lesson for $50 ;)

I purchased winter tires and received good advice. My car was picked up on time and the waiting time was reasonable. They noted two minor maintenance repairs to be carried out, taking the trouble to show me the parts to be replaced. This is what I expect from a mechanic, the advisory service and pro-activity to avoid mechanical breakdowns on the road. This is what I found at Chartrand tires.

Today I returned to the garage for an air leak on a winter tire recently installed by Pneus Chartrand. So I leave my car as requested because there is no need to make an appointment for an air leak. I was called a few hours later to inform me that my car was ready and that nothing was found. So what was my surprise to have a charge of $40.00 for the balancing and installation of the tire. A tire that was installed by them and has been leaking ever since. Personally, I myself worked as a technical advisor for a car dealership. And we never billed the customer when we found nothing abnormal, no puncture, no defective valve or problem with the mag... NOTHING. In addition, the advisor, to defend himself, told me that he could have charged me for a defective valve or a puncture patch. IF YOU DO IT, DO IT WITHOUT TELLING ME! ...In the spring I'll pick up my tires and go somewhere else. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GARAGE
