To encourage small local Quebec producers we went to Matelas Prestige. I purchased 2 mattresses on June 5th. One for my RV and one for the house. My priority request was to be able to have the same adaptation and the same firmness for the 2 mattresses. I clarified that I didn't really like foam mattresses and that I had 3 herniated discs and that I had bad back pain. I had a latex mattress over 12 years ago and was changing because it had sagging and was softer.
We had a session learning about densities and tried out mattresses and chose. We spent over an hour in the store. As I said, the VR mattress is exactly what we tried.
I am completely satisfied with the RV mattress. It is exactly what we tried, but for the home mattress they 'fixed' to try to have the same thing, it is a complete nightmare! I got the mattress on June 13th.. and the mattress is hard as a board. On July 5 we complained about the thing and were told to persevere and that adaptation would take 2-3 weeks. On July 22, we wanted to go carry it... surprise, the company is closed for construction holidays until August 5. We stopped sleeping on it on August 1st because we could no longer stand the insomnia it caused us. It's still just as hard, causing us even more back pain, not to mention hip pain, sore and numb shoulders and arms. So, more than a month of bad sleep. Which, with supporting evidence, is excessively bad for physical and mental health... not to mention mood, concentration etc... We are now the owners of a mattress worth more than $1500.00 tx inc including We are refused reimbursement. The 30-day comfort guarantee.. we did more than 30 days. This mattress was designed with 2 1/2 inches of 'plush' foam on top!
By the way, the production director says that they change their demos every 2 years...! What we didn't know at all during our first visit... when you think that Matelas Dauphin changes their demos every 6 months in all their branches.
We will never again buy a foam mattress and never again will we go to Matelas Prestige. The production manager's advice: we advise customers to put bricks and dumbbells on the mattress to 'reduce the novelty'... it's like a pair of shoes!!!!! That's it... it's up to you to make up your own mind now. Long live Matelas Dauphin... it's not for nothing that they are number 1 according to Protégez-vous magazine. We have just returned from the store and will be delighted to find the quality and incredible service of Matelas Dauphin.

We were advised on site by Valérie, who was cordial and informative, all without bullshit or any pressure. She guided us in choosing a mattress with which we are very satisfied. Matelas Prestige is a Quebec company with a very well organized and unpretentious store. THANKS!

Purchased on June 28, 2013 and still just as satisfied, with the rotation once every 6 months in my case of my triple comfort mattress and still just as comfortable.
I found it expensive to buy but it's definitely worth it in the long term for such good comfort.

First purchase made in 2002, for children's bunk beds. Then we came back to purchase the mattress for our motorhome and finally, most recently, for the chalet and the guest bedroom.
Super quality, very competitive price, but above all comfort!
The service is very professional, courteous and without pressure. The production team is very efficient and our mattresses have always been delivered on time.
The company also offers a very good discount for FQCC members.

I bought a King mattress from Prestige mattresses and went to pick it up directly from the store. She was not surprised, once she arrived home, to find that the gray cover (under-mattress) was torn in two places (see photos). I immediately contacted the store to explain the situation. I ended up talking to a very rude person and exchanged emails who suggested that I travel again to have the cover repaired. In the end, despite the fact that I was initially given damaged goods, I had to travel again from Montreal to St-Eustache to have the mattress cover repaired. I strongly suggest consumers considering purchasing from this store always inspect the mattress before leaving with it. The mattress cover was rolled up on the white side and it was the gray side (rolled inside) that was torn. The after-sales service and their quality guarantee unfortunately do not take into account the price paid for a mattress. I strongly suggest shopping elsewhere. A file will be opened at the OPC to allow other consumers to be completely informed before purchasing from their store. I do not recommend this manufacturer.

I was given very good advice and tried my options. They also explained to me their satisfaction policy which allows 1 modification of firmness (latex model chosen).Initially, I thought I needed even softer (there isn't any), but that would have been too much in the end, I am completely comfortable and very satisfied after 2 months (even 2 weeks).High-end mattresses are generally expensive and this one is no exception, but much cheaper than in department stores (around 35% including a 10% discount from FQCC).
