I had been a customer for 12 years, but unfortunately I decided to go a little further and go to the one in Prévost to do my grocery shopping.
Due to several times when I was forced to throw away food after only 24 hours because of rotten meat, dairy products, fruits and vegetables. The price of food has increased a lot, so if it does I automatically put it away to drain after only 1 day, this is unacceptable. The dates are good, but the product proves the opposite.
The bad comments are unfortunately validated, because too often I have witnessed, just like them, better food.

2 positive points, the employee service and the distance from the lines in the parking lot.
Still no charging stations after almost 1 1/2 years, the chickens on the spit are almost always overcooked, the flesh is dry, the wings, legs and thighs are practically boot soles, no recovery of the Styrofoam trays and so onâŠ. In short, I go there when I have no choice, I prefer to take the detour and go to the one in Prevost, itâs quite a difference for the same banner.

Difficult to enter southbound, turn at the traffic light before IGA or there is a hidden turn after traffic light

The homemade products and meat are better than many other IGAs in the region.

I would like to make a mention of the pastry shop which makes super beautiful and delicious personalized cakes! I've had my cakes made for parties with IGA for several years and I've never had such good service. Here is my cake for this mermaid themed weekend, which was exactly what I asked for. It was delicious! I recommend to everyone. Thanks again!

My partner tells me that he would like to have a tomahawk which is on special at 4 p.m. (a little late...) I don't buy one often because of the price but now, the weather is nice and I want to spoil him for supper. I arrive at the IGA (4:30 p.m.), where I often have good service, there was no more in the over-the-counter fridge counter. Disappointed, I ring the counter to see the butcher. I have a glimmer of hope when I see a rack of prime rib on his table! đ He comes up behind me with items that have nothing to do with the butchery and which seem to be what he is going to buy for his dinner. I ask him if there are other tomahawks. Without a word, he points at the empty counter as if I were Twite! I ask what time the butcher's counter closes, he tells me tomorrow (he doesn't speak French very well... but that's a detail) I ask him again what time the butcher's counter closes, he tells me again tomorrow . He finally understood my question by telling me that there were no more, that it was the weekend and that I should have come earlier if I wanted some and that there would only be some tomorrow and he leaves again in the butchery without even offering me an alternative, nothing. He left me there and that's it. He never told me what time the counter closed. I have nothing for my dinner, because there was no choice except pork but I'm allergic... At the checkout, I ask again what time the butcher shop closes... The counter closes at 5 p.m. which THE employees tell me 'confirmed at checkout. I was freaking out. I left frustrated. I could have had my piece of meat! The butcher had decided that he had âfinishedâ his day, not bothered to satisfy a customer so that there was something on his plate. I understand that it's the weekend and that everyone wants to enjoy it, but we also have to respect the hours! If the butchery closes at 5 p.m., it closes at 5 p.m., not before! I didnât remember the butcherâs first name but clearly, his service is far from excellent!
