This location installed a ball hitch receiver and wiring harness onto my VW Tiguan. On the very first trip the brake lights and directional blinkers stopped working within 15 minutes as witnessed by a friend following me in his car.We returned to U-Haul and were told the fuse had blown because of "weak relays" in my SUV. Weak relays? Never heard that could be a problem considering the current going to little lamps on the trailer. Anyway, the intermittent blowing of fuses continued for 2 more trailer rentals and we kept swapping fuses into the spliced fuse box. Each time I got the same excuse... "not our fault, get your electrical system checked".I finally bought it to my mechanic and it was in fact a sloppy installation that created intermittent grounding issues. The wire was loosely draped any which way under the frame and it was squeezed up between the exhaust manifold and the turbo waste gate bolt. My mechanic told me the heat probably cooked and melted through the wire's insulation almost immediately.So... bare loose wire bounces around and pops fuses intermittently. Easy-peasy right? Nope. My mechanic says U-Haul probably didn't even open the hood to check for this problem even though it was sitting out there in the open to see (see pictures).Avoid these mechanics. The physical ball hitch receiver is fine BTW. It was only the electrical stuff that was hosed.

***DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS U-HAUL***Worst possible experience!Firstly there were 4 people sitting on the desks, but with only 2 working while 6 people were waiting in line.Secondly they told us to park in the street even though there was a customer parking designed to leave your car.Third the truck that was given to us was poorly parked and stuck inbetween 2 cars, when mentioned to the employee we were told : "what do you want me to do about it?!" In a raised voice and then he leftFourth the truck was incredibly dirty inside and out, including the side mirrors and passanger windowsFifth when given our truck the fuel levels were lower than what I was told they would be, and what was indicated in the fuel sheet (meaning I have to pay for gas that wasn't used) when I mentioned it to the employee that gave us the sheet, he said : "go and take a photo to prove". Why? The truck is right outside, I haven't driven it yet, and aren't they supposed to verify the fuel levels from the previous loaner and make sure it's all in check?All in all disgusting experience, 0/5 wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I’ve rented from this location many times but the last time I did would be my last ever. The young employee at the reception insulted me in French thinking I don’t speak French. I remained calm and professional. The following day I spoke with the manager Kim Leong who asked me to write everything by email to her and never heard back. It has been 9 months since that email. This just shows how much they care.PS: another client next to me was spoken to in the same manner by that same employee.

We had a hard time looking for the box to drop our keys in. First, it did not look anything like what they have on the uhaul website which is orange. This was a Grey box on the garage door where it says "Do not block the driveway". So naturally, you would not look near there. Anyway, we had to call uhaul to figure out where to put the key. We were there for a long time, and it was frustrating because it was nighttime and chilly.

Cashier was extremely rude when renting the truck. Seemed like she really didn’t want to be there. Truck smelled like cigarettes and there was food on the floor. Attendants in the parking lot yelled at us when we drove our car in. No where to put your car so you can rent the van. Directed us three blocks down the street. Would never rent from here again.

The truck was filthy and had lots of trash in it. The vehicle mal functioned a few times and stalled. The mirrors were broken and made my driving difficult. The gas was also almost completely empty.

Avoid this place. When they installed my hitch including the wiring, they damaged the wiring for my car's taillights. First the taillights burned out. I replaced the light, then the fuse blew on my tail lights twice. So I brought the car to my garage and they tell me that U-Haul did such a bad job on the wiring when they installed the hitch, that the wiring will have to be replaced completely. I almost had an accident because my rear lights suddenly stopped working on my car while driving in the dark on an unlighted highway.

Ive been to this loctation several times. It is always slow, shot staffed and inefficient. Pick up times arent respected because its too slow.

Worst experience AGAIN !! first time i write about it but there is reason i need too this time , WAITED 40 MINUTES IN line ,,,and i was the 2nd in line as the employee engaged in a personal conversation with a client (WHOM HE SEEMINGLY KNEW ) not compentant enough with his own PC system ,, having to reboot,,,ask other colleagues ,,,,total disgrace but thats the LOW PAID , LOW COMPETANT worker ,,, understaffed,, under trained and slow as molasses,,, a NEW MANAGEMENT IS REQUIRED ,,,, have been to this local 8 times for rentals this year and each time there is an issue ,,, first waited 5 min to then have the person actually say hello can i help you while in line ,,, then to wait for help outside to collect the motorcyle trailer while they chatted so i hooked it up myself ,,, ooh i could go on ,,, but unfortunately for me its local ,,, and its the worst !! i have been to other UHAULS downtown and WEST ISLAND where the people are SHARP and Quick and customer focused to get you out ASAP,,, there is a HUGE LACK of skill at this location and expect to wait ,,,seems the lack of trained WIT people dont exist at this location as waiting in line 45 min is unacceptable when there is only 1 person ahead of you

I have been charged for furniture pads, while they were not included in the truck.The rental process took us more than 30 minutes at the counter.I was charged CAD $185, while the actual charge should be around CAD $90. I haven't seen yet the reimbursement and it has been already more than 72 hours

this place is not worth be named a business! they don't have any control over the people who return the truck back, late. as a result, what happened to me was that when I went to take the truck I had reserved for before, they said the requested trucks (25 feet) have not been returned back to the location, yet.another complaint is about one of the customer services named Jerry. I reserved a 25-feet truck over a month before the reservation date. On the reservation date, after waiting in a long line of people, this guy indifferently told me that there is no more 25-feet truck available in the place and asked me to leave because other people were waiting in the line. I could hardly believe he even works there as he had no sympathy with the problem I could have had at the time.

Firstly staff didn’t let me in and locked the door 5 mins before store close time. Then he refused to answer anything and asked me to come back tomorrow. Rolled the window on my face. Very rude experience.Then I contacted customer service and they somehow offered self service. When I booked the vehicle with correct info , the estimate told me charges will be $50, but while getting vehicle through self service, price increased to 78. Was kinda stuck and had to pay this amount.

The 24/7 truck sharing system was not functional on the day of my rental. We were not able to pick up our truck at 8am, as scheduled. We had to waste 1h and wait for the store to open, after which we had to wait in line for an extra 1h45 to finally get our keys. We started our day almost 3h behind schedule... Issues happen, i get that, however, there were no apologies on the part of the staff, no explanations, no compensation. We were told it wasn't their fault and to wait in line. The customer service at this location was one of the worst I have ever seen. I will not go back there for my future truck rental needs.

The staff was great, however when I returned the van, they charged me 12 liters for 30 kms and I have added already 10 liters of my own, so there is no way a van could use 12 liters in 30 kms, so please stop over charging people with gas
