“I really liked the place. It's not just for tourists. It's suitable for anyone who likes art in general, shopping or just relaxing with a coffee and pastries.”
“I happened to come upon Galerie 203 on a walk through old Montreal and what an amazing experience it turned out to be.As an artist I was looking to experience and gain insight into the galleries of Montréal and this one did not disappoint. They had their Noir show on display and that's what initially drew me in. I however stayed because of the welcoming and engaging conversation that I had with the owner and curator - Corinne. She is a warm and lovely individual with extensive knowledge of the art scene. What's more is that she actually took the time to get to know me as an individual as well as my work. Galleries rarely do so and it was a refreshing experience. She built on the conversation organically and was not dismissive or discouraging when it came to exchanging views and ideas.I would highly recommend paying them a visit should the opportunity arrise and having Corinne in your corner only betters your journey and experience in this extensive world of galleries and creativity!”
“Beautiful little gem store! The owner is extremely kind and interesting to talk to. I found exactly what I was looking for the store by asking help. If you need something and aren’t sure about it, email them or phone them at least a day in advance. They’ll prep and let you knoe everything you need to know. I am beyong happy about my visit to this store today. Everything is amazingly full of history and the owner is always ready to tell you everything! :) Will forsure come again!”
“I've been to the Nature exhibit a couple of times now and it is fantastic! Great sensory experience. Not very interactive, but it is very immersive. It does get a bit cold in there, so bring a sweater. There is seating in each of the rooms (rocking chairs and stools). The audio is a bit loud. It's not exactly cheap, but they do offer student prices and you're able to stay for as long as you like until closing. I've always purchased tickets on site and never had an issue. I highly recommend!”
“Super awesome space with two large galleries on the ground floor and a series of artist in residence studios on the second floor, connected by a neat old spiral staircase. Vernissages feature free food and a DJ. They've kept as much of the industrial charm of the metal foundry it's been converted from integrated into the gallery space and have public art and sculptures on display out in the courtyard. Montreal contemporary art must see!”
“My wife and I stumbled into this beautiful and welcoming little art gallery on a walk through Old Montreal. The girl working this day was very friendly and the gallery is located right across from the old market. The artist, Pater Hart’s work is very colorful and attractive. Highly recommended.”
“Had a great time attending an all female art show put on by @artmarketmtl
The venue was beautiful and creatively flowing from space to space. We had a baby stroller and once up the stairs it was easy to navigate around a packed house.
I would definitely attend another event in Livart
10/10”
“Impeccable service from A to Z. We had a lamp repaired that we really liked. I went to bring him my lamp on Tuesday and on Wednesday morning, I received a call to tell me that I could come and collect my lamp. The price of the repair was lower than the basic estimate which I already found more than reasonable. The shop is filled with small vintage decorative objects (lamps, desks, chairs, etc.). I bought a pretty little lamp there when I went to pick up my survivor. Bravo for your service and for your store and above all thank you for your efficiency!”

“It was a really cool VR Ai experience...
ONLY problem was everything was blurry.
I did it with my boyfriend and people had no faces and lot of blurr which really sucked. Cause for me the experience was pretty cool and maybe more questions woulda been good. I didnt know Ai was based on questions there. But again really freaken cool just wish people animals werent blurry in it..”
“For over 100 years this building housed the primary farmers' market for the Montreal area. After standing idle for a few years there was some talk of tearing it down, but that changed and it was re-purposed instead. I believe it is a Canadian Heritage Site. Built right next to the Chapel of Notre Dame de Bonsecours, the Market Bonsecours today houses scores of retail stores and a few food stops, mainly for the tourist crowd that visits this part of Old Montreal and the port area. There are no farmers' goods for sale here now - unless you count maple syrup, but it is more of a slew of boutique stores. Loads of souvenir stores, a few dress shops, and the like. So for now this is simply an indoor shopping mall, and a nice one at that.”
“We had the opportunity to recently visit this Gallery and we were given special attention. Indeed, apart from all the works on display, we were shown several paintings carefully arranged in their inventory. The service is attentive, pressure-free and respectful of our expectations and our budget. And what's more, we could bring home, free of charge, some works to view in our environment. What professionalism!”
