My family and I have been coming to this Jean Coutu Pharmacy for over 20 years, and every visit has been a five-star experience. Ph. May Balian is not only professional but also genuinely caring. Her entire team is exceptional especially Ph. Mary Kartalian, Ph. Gabrielle Saikali, and Ph. Chris Kaplo. Their knowledge is outstanding, and they are always patient, attentive, and willing to address all my needs and numerous questions. I am very happy with their service.

The photocopy machine took a coin from me, and when I spoke with the gentleman who was there, he brought back his so-called superior to tell me that I didn't put money in the machine, I was too shy to answer him, so I pretended I hadn't lost anything.
I wonder how you can find such people in such a large company.

I have never seen a pharmacy with such a long service to receive a simple prescription.

You should definitely go there if you want to be treated like a criminal by the staff. I wish I were exaggerating, I’ve never experienced anything like this before. I tried a tester perfume on a sample paper, and when an employee « Maria » asked if I needed help, I politely said I was okay. She insisted she 'had to help' and took the perfume out of my hand. When I asked if that was a policy at Jean Coutu, she said no. I requested a supervisor, but all I got was, 'I will talk to her after,' with no apology. Given previous reports of racism and discrimination, this Jean Coutu needs SERIOUS improvement or should be shut down.
I also want to add that I previously witnessed staff members refuse to let an elderly woman (I'm talking about an 80 y/o here!!) use their phone to call her son for a ride. I ended up offering her my phone, but I was shocked at how heartless the employees were.
I don’t think they expect anyone to escalate this further, but trust me, I will make sure they get reported.

I Love this place! Staff are professional and polite,especially the staff for medication,Knowledgeable and helpful,they go above and beyond to help with prescriptions!I have a JC closer to home but come here because of the superior service. My wife comes because of the huge selection of everything, from makeup to home goods. You can't go wrong here!

I wanted to return a creme at the cosmetic row due to my mother buying the wrong one and she doesn’t speak the language very well. they declined it because of a small damage on the packaging (ps. they sold her the creme with the packaging looking like that). I am very comprehensive that the staff are doing their job but the cosmetic manager mentioning out loud that customers always argue with her about that gave a sour taste in my mouth and looking at the product on the cosmetic row, not all products have perfect packaging…it seems like they never wanted to take the product back despite everything is sealed

Worst Jean Coutu by far. Snobs who can't even pronounce legit Canadian names correctly and some of the pharmacy staff have attitude problems, super unfriendly. I'm going to go out of my way to go to another Jean Coutu where it's actual Canadians working there who understand why proper customer service is so important. Avoid.

Worst pharmacy in town. I rated 1 because there was no 0. Medical counter very very slow, it can take two hours to get your pills. Forget if you ask for more than 1 month, you have to ask in advance even if there is no other client. And if you asked questions, they became upset and rude.
The treat you as well with discrimination, the other day, the lady thought I was under RAMQ and before asking me anything, she told me that I could'd buy more of one treatment because it's not covered by RAMQ and it was expensive, but I was covered by a private insurance but I couldn't even tell her, so because my appearance she got that conclusion.
My advice: move to another pharmacy.

Unfortunately, every time I go there, I find that the laboratory staff are dismissive and use a stupid tone. We have the impression of disturbing them and of being stupid.

I ended up crossing the street and transferring my file and that of my family across the street. Too messy, too cluttered and too much of a waste of time here. It's certain that pharmacists have a lot of work, but so do we. What's more, we see you chatting from the other side of the counter while the customers crowd into the square, we have the impression that you just ignore us. So bye!
