Nous allons chez Gibby's ( Montréal ou St-Sauveur) depuis presque 40 ans. C'est notre tante qui nous l'a fait découvert. C'est TOUJOURS fantastique. Mais hier, petite déception: impossible d'avoir notre apéritif préféré: le gin Gimlet. C'est à votre resto qu'il est le meilleur. Et ma tante était avec nous; ça faisait 20 ans qu'elle n'était pas allé. Et c'est son drink préféré à elle aussi... Mais pour le reste, impeccable comme d'habitude. Cuisson des viandes: parfaite. Notre serveur était attentionné, courtois et plein d'humour. Donc nous continuerons nos traditions. Et nous avons promis à notre tante que nous reviendrons ( faudra pas attendre trop longtemps, elle a 88 ans et on ne connait pas l'avenir...)

What an extremely disappointing restaurant. Our dinner was awful the lamb chops were fatty tasteless and looked nothing like what they should have. The filet Mignon was also tasteless and not cooked as ordered. The overall experience was terrible considering the high prices this restaurant charges we will definitely not return and will let our family and friends no to not bother with this restaurant.

Entrée d'huîtres Rockefeller ? Filet mignon ? Service impeccable des 2 serveuses Monique et Louise ? Ambiance très paisible mais je trouvais qu'il manquait un peu de bruit de fond. Tout était parfait

Excellent restaurant, nourriture hors pair avec plusieurs choix tous aussi bon les uns que les autres. Belle ambiance surtout lorsqu'on est assis à corde la fenêtre. Je recommande ce restaurant. Caroline

il y a eu un erreur dans les a cotés de deux plats ( patate au four vs patates frites inversé) ce qui créa un long délai désagréable laissant la troisième personne en attente, Le serveur n'y étais pour rien

Gibby's is a institution , always been reliable and consistent over the years and still provides old school service and quality. This visit though we felt the service was not up to the regular standard we have come to love. Skeleton staff made us wait longer and not what we have been used to receiving there. Still one of our favorites and we will be back.

I've been to Gibbys Montreal and it was excellent. Not the same at St Saveur. For the price of the food you want to have a delicious meal. The Gibbys salad was good but the main dish meh. The filet mignon was very dry we asked for medium and both were dry. The Monte Carlo potato was far from what it should be. We didn't bother for dessert. We won't be going back there unless they change the way they cook the food. The upside was our waitress she was very nice.

Was excellent food but we specify it was our wedding anniversary and nobody offered the usual pictures and desert,we have been going at at anniversary for the last 6 years first time we did not get the desert and picture as a souvenir.

The steak was good and the wait staff, Louise, was excellent. Unfortunately the main course was served too quickly and we felt rushed. In addition, the noise level in the front room was too high for an enjoyable conversation. Also regrettably, it appears that the new owners have chosen to remove favs from the menu, including the lamb St. Sauveur and the key lime pie. Furthermore, there are now charges for an extra salad and sides when sharing a meal.

Nous avons adoré notre visite avec des gens qui venait de loin de plus car on avait demandé une table en haut et il y a eu un employé non présent alors ça pas été possible on nous a offert l'apéro quelle belle attention de la part de l'hôte un gros wow vue que nous avons été au premier étage au lieu du deuxième

Ordered the Wellington medium rare it arrived rare. They took it back, put it back into the oven, brought back my cut up pieces, and i noticed the phyllo dough was raw. So I just ate the meat. :( Wellington is a difficult dish to perfect. I understand this, so if it cannot be done properly leave it off the menu even though you are known for it. It's my go dish EVERY TIME to at Gibbys Old Montreal , they make it spot on every time!

Overprice pour ce que c était! Bœuf Wellington trop cuit , pomme de terre Monte-Carlo sortait probablement d un rechaud , 4 asperges anémiques et un piment. Salade au début, rien d extraordinaire. 2 cocktails 2 plats principaux....$ 200.06 avant service . Pour ce montant j ai mangé meilleur ailleurs. Payer n est pas un problème, mais pas ce montant pour que j ai eu !

Food and services are good but the government lace needs a bit love the table was very old on a slope looked around all the tables were the same even the table next to us made same remarks

We had a lovely experience, the food was excellent but the service really made our experience that much better, we had Monique as our waitress and she was super attentive and kind. Definitely returning if not for the food then for the amazing service (and Monique !!)
