“Excellent grocery store with good quality produce, meats and deli items. My French isn't very good and I was somehow unable to find bread crumbs but this is on me! Many of the staff spoke English and were very helpful.”

“Unbeatable for low prices and freshness of fruits and vegetables! The only downside is no cashier in the evening so you have to avoid doing a big grocery store otherwise you have to scan everything yourself! Not very practical…”

“I recently visited Marche Morin Heights and I was thoroughly impressed! This hidden gem serves up mouth-watering fried chicken that's crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home.

The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a casual dinner or lunch with friends and family. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. I highly recommend trying their signature fried chicken dishes – you won't be disappointed!

Overall, Poulet Maniaque at Marche Morin-Heights is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious fried chicken in Morin Heights.”

“Typical IGA ++! Fresh fruit and vegetables as well as a full range of super natural food. If you shop IGA's flyer, despite the exorbitant price of everything from soup to nuts, you can easily save on some typically purchased items; if you have an extra freezer, these sales should give you a very good savings on meat and seafood - fresh vegies, too as long as they have a place in your menu of meals and snacks for the week. Other grocery stores also have specials, of course, and you might save 20 - 25% if you go through the flyers before you decide upon your weekly menu. With respect to the quality of the produce, though, if money was no concern, IGA, hands down!”

“Expensive and not alot of choices I know this is not a supermarket but a 10 minutes drive will get you to the IGA Extra. Also staff is not welcoming and when they are not sure of pricing they say to come back another day....”

“I don't understand the reviews. The store is clean and well kept. Shelves are full. I'm very glad that we have this kind of supermarket in st-hippolyte!”

“At lunchtime, they generally have a great offer of meals of the day (minimum 3-4 different choices), at a more than reasonable price, around $8 or $11 with the soup of the day, the dessert of the day and a drink. Good solution for an inexpensive dinner!”

“This Metro is well stocked with a variety of fresh produce, meats, breads fresh out of the oven like a cheese loaf that lasted only two days accompanied by fresh creton which suffered the same fate. Parking available in the back next to the church which is open every second Saturday for the Winter market featuring local artisans. So if you want to take a drive and experience Val David during the Christmas season you will not be disappointed.”

“I frequently visit the IGA Plus in Saint-Jérôme, and I am impressed with the overall experience. The store's cleanliness & organization stands out, everything is neatly placed & easy to navigate. The layout makes shopping efficient, allowing me to quickly find what I need.

While I appreciate the store's tidiness, I did notice that sales are not particularly prominent. Compared to other local grocery stores, the IGA Plus does not have many significant promotions nor discounts that catch my eye. However, what truly sets this store apart is its range of specialized products.

From artisanal cheeses to international spices, the IGA Plus offers a diverse selection that caters to various tastes and dietary needs. As someone who enjoys exploring different cuisines, I appreciated the store's effort to stock unique and hard to find items. The quality of these products are consistently high, making the slightly higher prices worthwhile.

Overall, my experience at the IGA Plus in Saint-Jérôme is positive. While sales may not be a strong suit, the store's cleanliness, organization, and specialized product offerings make it a great option for those seeking a unique shopping experience. I'd definitely recommend it to friends & family looking for a more curated grocery shopping experience.

“The only thing is that sometimes you have those line up to get to the cashier or self payout. Other than that, it's very clean and the stuff is very friendly.”

“Love and hate at once.

The shop is great. It has what you need
The people are great. But!

Try to be more open minded for tourist / English speaking people only.
Keep more cash registers ready

And provide rest veggies for the animals not in the summer and fall only. Offer it during the winter as well.

Love you guys. But reflect more. 🥰”

“I like to go and place my order at the Métro. I find almost everything I need. Even if I'm going to place an order on the last day of the specials, there are always some left. There are some good specials, too.”
