Metro Valcartier is a convenient store that offers basic grocery needs but is more like a convenience store than a full grocery store. Located close to homes, it provides practical options, though for a complete selection, a drive to Val Belair or Ste Catherine is recommended. The store carries various items but may run out of specials quickly, and while the staff is polite, there are concerns about the freshness of the meat.
Generally clean and well-stocked. Service was polite. My hubby speaks French, which was good because the associate at the cash did not seem to speak any English.
