“This little shop is very historically significant as it was once Elders Tavern. This is the site where multiple escaped Confederate raiders from the Saint Albans , Vt. bank robbery during the Civil War were captured!
It is currently used as a wonderful little antique shop. The gentleman operating the shop is great to talk with about this and he has a copy of the Wanted poster for the confederates displayed.”
