Verger Heath Orchard is a charming, family-owned apple orchard located in the scenic Eastern Townships of Quebec. This two-century-old farm offers a delightful apple picking experience among 3,500 well-cared-for apple trees featuring a variety of delicious apples. Visitors can enjoy the serene atmosphere while wandering through the rows of trees, immersing themselves in the beauty and history of the orchard. In addition to apple picking, the orchard features a small shop where guests can purchase local products, including cider, honey, maple syrup, and handmade pottery crafted by one of the owners, Lynn Heath. The warm and welcoming owners, who are both artists—a potter and a musician—are eager to share their passion for the land and its offerings with visitors. Many guests return year after year, appreciating not only the apples but also other seasonal goodies such as pumpkins and jellies. With its peaceful setting and authentic experience, Verger Heath Orchard is a hidden gem that promises a memorable outing for families and individuals alike, making it a top destination for those looking to enjoy the beauty of fall.
I’ve been going to Heath Orchard for many years. I always look forward to picking apples and buying garlic at this beautiful location and seeing the beautiful pottery they have for sale. Highly recommended.

Large orchard with many different kinds of apples, and a small shop selling a variety of local foods along with the apples, beautiful pottery made by one of the owners, and some CDs by the other owner, a singer-songwriter. Well worth a stop if you're in the area.
