“We stayed for two days in a regular room, queen bed. The overall inn is lovely, very beautiful and historic. Owners were available, friendly and helpful. They seemed to love what they do. Breakfast in the on-site was wonderful with fabulous ham, a special blend of wonderful coffee and home made baked beans. Restaurant service was stellar and I wished we could make it back for an afternoon/evening beer at the beautiful bar but unfortunately, we were at an event.
The bed and pillows weren’t great but not bad - bedding and soaps, shampoos etc were high quality.
Great area that seems to have things to do in all seasons. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.”

“Charming room. Comfy bed. Clean. However the sheets and especially the pillows had very strong perfume. Had trouble sleeping and gave me a headache. Mentioned it to staff in the morning, hoping the feedback could help improve experience for others, but she was dismissiving (!!) … sheets are sent out. Nothing can be done. Really.?!
It may work for other people but I know I’m not going to be staying there because of the strong detergent perfume. Not healthy. Too bad. It’s a great location.”
