The food is delicious, with a great variety at a fair price, including items like French toast and maple taffy. There is plenty of food, served in a clean dining room. Service is self-serve, where guests get in line rather than being served at the table. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The place is really great for kids, who are welcome and pay reduced amounts. Parking is in a big lot with plenty of space, though it can be a little muddy. The site has some wheelchair accessibility with ramps and accessible washrooms, which also have a baby changing station. A noted downside is the condition of the public roads to get there. Some guests felt the addition of a walking trail, a guided tour of the syrup process, or a pea soup offering would be great bonuses. The place does not have internet, cell phone access, or an Interac machine, so bringing cash is necessary. Many visitors plan to return next year.
