Nice, human vet. Took us for some emergencies very quickly, once had one of my dogs with an eye operation that looked unsuccessful, they offered to fix it for free (didn't have to in the end as the eye got better). Lots of empathy and obvious love for animals. Professional staff. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

This animal hospital is amazing. The whole staff is compassionate and really do care about your furry friend. We brought our dog to multiple vets and spent 1000$s of dollars for the wrong diagnosis with the issue not healing. As soon as we brought her here - they had a potential diagnosis within an hour and a half. If you care about the health of your animal, take them here. We cannot thank the staff enough for saving our dog. ❤️

I have been a customer for 20 years and have always had very good service from all the staff. People say they are more expensive than elsewhere and I believe that is possible but they take care of our animals as if they were their own. Very human, attentive, empathetic. For me it is the best possible choice.

I waited 2 weeks after my dogs passing so that I could write a clear-headed review. I also called the vet multiple times to explain where they made errors in my dogs diagnosis and treatment that ultimately let to her early (and we believe preventable passing).Over the past 2 years, I have had both my dogs as patients here. We have spent thousands of dollars and always taken the vets recommendations for every single test they have recommended.During these 2 years, we have had several poor decisions or rushed diagnostics for both dogs, and I will list them so this does not seem like just a frustrated pet owner leaving a negative review.Callie: We book her in because she had injured her paw playing. I pinpointed the exact location where the pain was obvious and asked for an x-ray. The vet x-rayed a different part of her leg and said there was no break or obvious damage "just a strain". It was obvious to us this could not be the case but we took our dog home for the night. The next day, it clear something was still wrong. We took her back in, paid a second visit and asked them to x-ray the part we had originally asked for. Sure enough, she had a broken bone in that part of her paw. Something the vet completely missed and ignored when I told them. They said 'I missed that, sorry".Marley: We said our small dog was eating too quickly - and they said okay, here is this much larger kibble maybe it will help. We asked if that was risky given that she has a tendency to eat quickly - they said it should be fine. Second time our dog ate this food, she took a whole kibble (intended for much larger animals) and fell over because her airways were blocked. I had to personally pound her chest to get it out. She would have died otherwise.Marley: When we moved to Hudson, our dog was switched to Simparica. From the moment we started this tick treatment, every time we would give it to our small dog (pug) she would go through a few days of strange behaviour, drinking and peeing constantly etc. We asked the vet during every visit if Simparica was perhaps too strong for a smaller dog. They said it would be fine. A couple of months later, Marley developed elevated enzyme levels in her liver (Simparica is very hard on the liver). We again asked for help, and inquired about switching the medication. They said it was fine. Marley was on this medication daily for almost 2 years.3 weeks ago, a few days after giving Marley her simparica dosage, she started to have signs that suggested there was something seriously wrong (limping etc). We took her in, they did an exam, x-rays etc (over $1000 total) and everything came back 'normal' according to them. The only red flag that they ignored was her liver enzyme levels. Instead of running a standard bile test, they said everything looked physically normal and prescribed 2 weeks of anti-inflammatories and recommended MRI's to see if there was something in her brain causing this.Loss of motorskills/limping is a common symptom of liver failure or early signs of shunts due to liver issues. This was missed - even though they knew the liver enzyme levels were elevated.Marley never recovered from the simparica and anti-inflammatory medication, ultimately losing healthy liver function and passing within 2 weeks. We spent over $15,000 at the emergency clinic to run every other test imaginable to try and find the issue - every vet we spoke to said Simparica can be very hard on the liver of dogs, especially in small breeds, and that the inflammatory only masked the real issue. Marleys liver was rapidly failing and she was having neurological issues (lameness, confusion, blindness) that were ultimately too difficult for her to handle. We had to put our angel down.Since, I have called the vet multiple times, just to explain the situation, in order to prevent future dogs from needlessly suffering from similar situations.I have not gotten a single call back. A disappointed experience during a very traumatic time in our lives.

Don't trust their judgment if you travel, they don't know how to properly fill out the necessary paperwork. When they make mistakes they don't try to correct everything...the minimum...I moved several times because they didn't forget to tell me to bring the dog or when I brought it I didn't need it etc... very disappointed, unread email etc.
