I always pick up baguettes from here because they're cheaper than the Metro grocerie thats 50 feet away.

The produce is always beautiful and very fresh. Prices are good and they have a wide selection of organic products.
The owner is a real sweetheart - he is warm, generous, and always ready to share a laugh with his customers. He remembers me each time I visit and always selects the ripest, best produce for me. I thank him, and fruterie soleil, for being an important part of our neighborhood culture.

Wonderful community grocery store. Wide variety of good, I can usually get what I need here. Good selection of health type foods, organic and vegan. The owner seems to take great pride in his shop and is personable to customers. Hours are good and prices are similar to Metro and other store in the area.

Prices here are rarely marked, making shopping confusing. On top of that, the cashier was rude, unprofessional, and clearly more interested in doing something else than serving customers. I also got overcharged for an item I didn’t buy — something I later saw others have complained about too. Always check your receipt. Between the high prices, poor service, and shady practices, I won’t be coming back.

Cute spot with an ok selection at ok prices. What annoys me about this place is the produce quality and overuse of packaging... no way to check if a batch of garlic they're selling has gone rotten when they're all sold in sealed containers. I've ended up with entire containers of rotten stuff from this shop.

fresh and good prices.
I go to this place for years, they are friendly, but the most beautiful part of it is their implication in the society.
I work with homeless people and addiction and the fruiterie soleil helps them and empowers them. I see alot of them become better people because of their implication.
