Metro Plouffe Waterloo is a good and nice grocery store for a town its size. The recent renovations and expansion have greatly improved the store. The staff is friendly and their friendliness has greatly improved. You can find everything you need there. The quality of the meats is superior and reasonably priced, strongly recommended over competitors. However, some find the variety and quality, especially of fruits and vegetables, does not match other locations; they can perish quickly, though this has seen very nice improvement recently. Many find everything is exceptionally expensive with crazy prices. The self-service checkouts are exceptionally unpleasant.

Good selection, high prices. They won't let you in with a backpack or bag. If you use Food Hero they are strict about the wait time to get the frozen produce.
