We must encourage these village grocery stores, they are disappearing or are rare. Still, every time I go up to Garthby-Beaulac, I stop there to find something to eat. There are often things on discount for quick sales and I always find something healthy for not too much money. Regardless of this, the grocery store is well stocked with cheeses etc. The friendly atmosphere at the checkouts is friendly and we see that each customer is known and greeted by the cashier in a frank camaraderie that remains polite. Just that, it's worth the detour!

If we follow the specials in the flyer, that’s good! But regular prices are excessive. Good quality meat, good service.

We went here our first day and had a lovely experience. The most important thing to know is the store is closed some days which means that you will need to plan your visit accordingly. Its worth it. There is nothing like it in the region.
I misposted my original review for a neighboring store and the owner sent me a kind correction. Thank you so much. I would give you six stars if i could.
The bottomline is that this store has premium produce, vegan options, and ownership that is courteous and kind.
