“Le Balcon d'Art is one of the most remarkable galleries in all of Québec. We have been dealing with them for over a decade and will continue to do so. Nath has extraordinary taste and will honestly tell you what she thinks about a piece. Stefano has a keen eye for details and very neat craftsmanship. We're always given great service and leave happy. Thank you!”

“What an amazing store! There are a million different treasures to discover, with hidden gems tucked away throughout the entire place. In my opinion, that’s part of what makes antique shopping so much fun and adds so much charm to the experience. Peter was an absolute delight to work with. He was incredibly knowledgeable about every piece and provided exceptional customer service. It’s wonderful to meet someone who clearly has such a genuine passion for what they do. I had so much fun learning about the history behind each item that caught my eye. Also they deliver larger pieces of furniture to you, which makes buying larger items very easy. We ended up finding a gorgeous Art Deco lamp that will look absolutely stunning in our new place. The prices are very reasonable for what you’re getting, plus the lamps in the store have been rewired so you can count on them working properly. I can’t say enough good things about this shop and the experience we had. I’ll absolutely be coming back whenever I’m in the mood to browse, hunt for hidden treasures, or find that perfect piece for our home! Highly recommend! ✨”

“A spectacular assortment of truly unique, beautiful jewelry. I'm the type of person who appreciates jewelry, clothing etc that is not 'trendy' but simply....beautiful, unique, well-made/quality...and I love stuff that's a bit avant-garde, quirky and/or a bit unusual. This shop had plenty of offerings that fit that description, IMHO! I ended up purchasing a really cool pair of earrings...”

“Impeccable service from A to Z. We had a lamp repaired that we really liked. I went to bring him my lamp on Tuesday and on Wednesday morning, I received a call to tell me that I could come and collect my lamp. The price of the repair was lower than the basic estimate which I already found more than reasonable. The shop is filled with small vintage decorative objects (lamps, desks, chairs, etc.). I bought a pretty little lamp there when I went to pick up my survivor. Bravo for your service and for your store and above all thank you for your efficiency!”

“We are absolutely delighted with our recent acquisition of a work by the talented artist Robert Séguin. From the first look at his designs, it is evident that Robert invests his heart and soul into every piece he makes. The passion he has for his art shines through in the vibrant colors, meticulous details and deep emotion that each work exudes. Robert is not only a master of the art; his professionalism and commitment to his clients are second to none. The experience of purchasing and selecting the work was an absolute pleasure, right up to the installation at home. We are deeply grateful to have one of his magnificent creations now gracing our space. Many thanks to Robert for sharing his artistic vision with us. We highly recommend him – he is truly a 5 star performer!”

“PHI Montreal is a must-visit for travelers interested in contemporary art, immersive experiences, and creative technology. Located in the heart of Old Montreal, PHI showcases innovative exhibitions, photography, film, music, VR, and multimedia installations. Entrance fees for adults are on a sliding scale, admission gains you access to all three exhibition spaces. Past highlights have included Yayoi Kusama’s mesmerizing Infinity Mirrored Rooms, as well as works by artists such as Jakob Kudsk Steensen and Paola Pivi. Beyond the exhibitions, be sure to head to the top floor of the main building, where you’ll find beautiful views of Montreal and a comfortable lounge area on the ground floor. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or simply looking for a unique Montreal experience, PHI offers an inspiring blend of art, technology, and culture. Allow yourself a little extra time to wander, take in the architecture and atmosphere, and enjoy the experience at your own pace—it’s as much about the setting and discovery as it is about the exhibitions themselves.”

Bonsecours Market, 350 Rue Saint-Paul E local 275, Montréal QC H2Y 1H2
“For over 100 years this building housed the primary farmers' market for the Montreal area. After standing idle for a few years there was some talk of tearing it down, but that changed and it was re-purposed instead. I believe it is a Canadian Heritage Site. Built right next to the Chapel of Notre Dame de Bonsecours, the Market Bonsecours today houses scores of retail stores and a few food stops, mainly for the tourist crowd that visits this part of Old Montreal and the port area. There are no farmers' goods for sale here now - unless you count maple syrup, but it is more of a slew of boutique stores. Loads of souvenir stores, a few dress shops, and the like. So for now this is simply an indoor shopping mall, and a nice one at that.”
