“IGA Atwater is a large store with an impressive selection of products. Whether you're looking for fresh produce, specialty items, or everyday essentials, this IGA has it all. The variety and quality make it a great place to shop.
However, it's unfortunate that the store is located in a mall that feels a bit unsafe at times. While the IGA itself is excellent, the surrounding area could use some improvement to make customers feel more secure.

“Very good butcher shop, the meat is good quality, the staff is very knowledgeable and will always advise you and tell you where their meat is sourced from. The prices are fair and a lovely touch is that you can also buy a variety of local products including a nice variety of hot sauces!”

“Excellent. I usually have a strong dislike of any store purporting to be a “general store” or “dep” but in reality is just a super expensive, extremely selective boutique. I thought this was one of them. It is not.
Pricey, sure. But a great neighbourhood staple filled with local goods, bulk coffee and snacks and soaps, proper staples of bread, cheese, some meats, and a huge beer selection.
This place is also one of the only places to get a decent selection of Quebec ciders and wine, and they have a solid non alcoholic selection as well.
Above all else though the staff are all super cool, happy to chat and help, and they’re open almost every day of the year. A+”

“Went in this cute little store today with a friend that was picking up her gluten free beer and I was surprised to see all the different options of beer, alcohol free beer and hot sauces. Also a bunch of good quality, local products. The owner was very, very friendly and helpful.”

“There is a strange separation between “rich” people and “poor” people by the simple fact that the pantry space is upstairs. Otherwise I love this branch!! Lots of products that you can't find elsewhere and the employees are very nice!”
“We went to SAQ Sélection-De Maisonneuve - City Councillors located at 425, Boulevard De Maisonneuve on Old Montreal. The selection was pretty good, although we were looking for a wine we were served on the VIA Rail Train (CreekSide - Sauvignon Blanc) and they did not have it. ??
We were looking for a magnum and was shocked to find out they don’t make magnums for inexpensive bottles of wine ($30 and under) they ONLY make magnums (1.5 litre) for $75 bottles and more (up to $300 for a magnum!! It had better come with a sommelier for that price, just sayin!!).
Overall, the magnum experience was a little rich for our tourism budget so we settled on a $20 bottle of Pinot Grigio (okay maybe 2 bottles … well, it might have been 4 - final count!). Cheers ??”

“Really nice convenience store? It feels like a luxury 7/11 or Oxxo. Large selection of local wines and beers, cookies, chips, drinks, truly fresh foods that can be grabbed to go, coffee, candies, and so much more!”
“Don't judge the book by the cover, despite the size of the store they do have good options there, from all tastes and budgets. I followed the suggestion of the employees and found two decent wines (keep in mind I am a beer person, so skip the judgement on my taste for wine), Tru Blau, it was surprisingly good.”
“One of the better SAQ's. Just Got some Spanish Wines for the festive season! June 11 2023 got a Nice Chateau Coufran 2010 and some Really Nice Zenato Amarone's 2018. There was supposed to be a 2016 Zenato Reserva for me as well but they must have hid it when I got There! I Actually called ahead to see if they had the Reserva and they told me that they couldn't put it aside for me( which is rare when comes to SAQ) but that it was in their stocks? So off I went got there and no Reserva!??”
“First time at this SAQ, it's clean and organized but most of all the staff I met was so knowledgeable. We were looking for the barefoot Moscato but since they don't get US products he recommended something similar and honestly what a find it was so delicious. Thank you so much.”
