Great lockers, great swimming pool for downtown and great classes! I highly recommend Steve's Tai Chi class on Wednesdays and Fridays at 9AM

Small place relative to other locations, therefore there's a need to find the right time to attend.

I subsribed to go swimming to that center. But after more than a year I can say that the swimming pool is far from beeing clean...There is dubious organic elements and other trash swimming with us...The sauna is always broken. And the worse is to travel all the way to the center and have the bad surprise to read on the door from the swimmning pool, after showering and all, that you cannot access it for whatever reasons.Paying 31.84 every two weeks, it is 1655.68 per year it is going to cost you, wich is overprice for the service they are not even able to give.

I took a LEVEL 1 adult swimming course at this YMCA. The course was 99% with people who had exposure to water, taken few classes already and in fact most that could actually swim and just wanted a refresher. This should have been named a refresher course not LEVEL 1.The main instructor was lazy just shouted some oral instructions. 90% of the time was not even in the water to guide a bit. My last day i was struggling to breathe under water she was completely rude to me. For a complete beginner like me there was no guidance and towards the end completely felt ignored, discouraged and lost. They give a small space for 5 to 6 or more adults where you hardly have any place to practice without bumping into each other. Great level 1 course if you want a refresher or are already quite comfortable in the water. Not for the real beginner not even an afterthought to teach to real beginners.

Zach, Chantal and many others left this ymca and they were the best employees. How are they keeping this woman (Theresa) monitoring the gym during the day. She is condescending, rude and over bearing. If you come to this gym, go early so you do not have to deal with her (or later). Otherwise the gym and it’s equipment while small are good. The pool and sauna are very good too, along with the basketball court. But honestly, if you can go elsewhere.

The only GOOD things are it's clean and a few of the front desk staff are very kind, such as Zach. However, the trainers are nosy, incompetent and give preferential treatment to thoss who listen to their unwanted advice. In response to a lack of equipment (they had a much better variety years ago), they refined the already cramped weight area to a more condensed space.Still closed around 6 on weekends, still no towels. Really bad value for your money (80/month with a locker).EDIT: They provide 10 guests passes as a perk to you the member, yet if you try to have people use them without your presence, they won't let them. They could have all of the guest's info and have your pre authorised approval to let them in and still won't because YOU the member aren't present. They claim legal liability but it doesn't make sense. Overall, sub par gym.

Never overcrowded in the weight/machines room and friendly staff at the front desk. However, this old quebecker lady with grey hair is very rude and self centered. In a yoga class, she complained that she didn’t want to be in the back, God knows why, and she didn’t want to move over to let me, A 15 YEAR OLD, have a spot as well. Ruined my day.

Je n'ai jamais vu un gym avec 3 machines à câble et 6 bench auparavant ! Très bien entretenu et beaucoup d'équipement. La seule chose que je préfère au YMCA du Parc est le sauna mentholé

They enforced showing them your medical records (passports) and excluded people with different medical beliefs as them. I had to make a fake passport just to join the gym. Now they closed off over half the gym equipment so you have to wait in lines to use machines while wearing a mask that obstructs your breathing while doing physical activity and they have plastic glass coverings around some machines as if that does anything at all other than putting on a liberal show.

Terrible experience. A lady monitoring the gym floor was completely out of line and rude when my friends and I were just checking out the main gym floor. The equipment to space ratio was smaller for my liking and the service/management was below standard relative to gyms in the NDG/Westmount area. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anybody.
