With my husband's urging, I started training with Jonathan about 3 months ago as a way to rehabilitate my shoulder so that I could go back to Kickboxing (which I was LOVING). What happened instead, though- was that my shoulder feels great, and I loved having small group personal training so much, that I decided to stick with it, and cancel the kickboxing! I started seeing results within a couple of weeks and actually look forward to going. I would never push myself if left to my own devices, and found that the small group really helps with my motivation and energy levels. Jonathan and Emily are absolutely lovely and are amazing motivators. I HIGHLY recommend!

I've been training with Jonathon for about two years now and I would never train anywhere else again. He has helped me with physical therapy type rehab with my shoulder after tearing it and now I'm back and better than before. Jonathon is also very personable and genuinely cares about you. I've gotten more results in such a short time here than I've ever gotten working out by myself. Anyone looking to get in shape with any worries should stop in for a consultation and it will change how you think about the gym for the better!

Love this gym. Jonathan and the crew have done an amazing job cultivating a welcoming and accepting environment. They meet you where you’re at in your fitness journey, whether you’re completely new or experienced. Personally - strength training with Jonathan has nearly eliminated chronic over-use injuries and muscle imbalances I’ve had for years, and feel stronger and more resilient than I ever have.

I have finally found my gym after 4 years since moving here! I have been working with trainers for 25+ years and fitness has been important to me in my adult life, but I have had debilitating injuries for the past several years. Jonathan is very conscientious and knowledgeable about working with those injuries but still guiding me to make progress. Jonathan is also such an inspiring and open person, and he focuses on building a friendly and welcoming community. I look forward to all my workouts!

Jonathan's attention to detail and expertise is exactly what I was looking for in a trainer. I was coming off an injury from crossfit and wanted to build back slowly and carefully. Jonathan's programming has been exactly that. I'm still getting a great pump but also allowing my body to heal naturally. I highly recommend.

Our family has been training at Best Self for about 6 months and it’s been a very positive experience for all of us. We are stronger and healthier and we feel very supported by Jonathan. He gives so much attention and knowledge and has a great way with people. We recommend!

Great gym, with a great community of people. Jonathan is super knowledgeable and supportive, no matter what level you’re at or what your needs are. I’ve been trying to get back in shape and rehab a couple of chronic injuries and he’s helped me so much. I also often struggle with finding the motivation to work out, but my sessions at Best Self are fun and interesting and I’m almost always excited to get in there.

After I had breast reduction surgery I knew I’d would look and feel different in my body and wanted to get ahead of that. After the first consultation with Johnathan he was very encouraging and supporting my personal goals! I’ve been working with him for almost a year now and have to say this was the BEST thing I have ever done for myself. I couldn’t be more thankful to have the best guidance towards my personal growth with physical health and mental health as well!!

I have only been working with Jonathan for a few weeks but I already feel like it's making a profound impact. I've been trying to improve my physical health for a long time but things really took a difficult turn postpartum and I've been struggling to be healthy, despite some chronic injuries. After meeting and working with Jonathan, I finally feel like there is hope for me and my broken-ish body. I started working with Jonathan a couple of months ago and the experience has been fantastic. I was intimidated by the idea of working with a trainer as it's something I have never done, but Jonathan has done an excellent job understanding my needs and working with me as an individual. One of our family went in looking to shake up their exercise routine and was quickly inspired to share the Best Self community. Less than six months later, the experience has been meaningful enough that our whole family goes to Best Self for the motivation to grow stronger and healthier through encouragement and feedback. For the last year I’ve been walking around with pain in my back that I just couldn’t manage and in the last few months it’s gotten worse… today thanks to Best Self Health & Fitness & I was able to spend the ENTIRE day walking around with a lot less pain than usual I seriously recommend reaching out if your suffering in pain because I can tell you he’s got ways of helping even when you don’t believe they’ll help… thank you for helping me start my road to feeling better!!!
