The pharmacy decided not to refill 2 prescriptions even though they had refills and not notify me. Apparently they only had a 1 month refill, not 3 months. Who makes that decision about medication that someone needs to take? Who decided to not refill it even though it has a refill remaining and not notify you? Also, that phone system is ridiculous. The reviews seem to agree that this pharmacy has a problem, get your act together.

I had an utterly disappointing experience at the Barrington CVS, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst customer service encounters I've ever had. Upon entering the store and seeking assistance from an employee, I was met with blatant disrespect and indifference. As I inquired about the availability of cardboard boxes, the employee, who seemed more interested in her phone screen than helping customers, responded with a dismissive tone, as if my question was beneath her. Instead of providing a simple yes or no answer, she retorted with a condescending "dude, Target, Home Depot," implying that I should have known better than to ask such a question at CVS. It was clear that she had no intention of assisting me and went out of her way to make me feel ignorant for seeking help. This level of unprofessionalism and rudeness is completely unacceptable, and it reflects poorly on the entire establishment. I would strongly advise anyone considering shopping at the Barrington CVS to reconsider and take their business elsewhere, where they can expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect.

CVS Text message sure could improve.
From CVS, I receive a number of really irrelevant
texts besides receiving notification "medication ready for pick it up." I really do not care for irrelevant text messages. Only that my prescription is ready for pick up.
But on two recent occasions, I've gone to the pharmacy to find medication is not there. When asked the pharmacist replied "medication's was not pickup so was turned back in as required by law?" And both cases I indicated a pickup date response. CVS please explain! !
Furthermore, I called my insurance company both Medicare and my supplemental said they would like to be aware of this" new law!"

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. They lie and text you that the medication is ready when in reality they're out of everything and never refill their stock for their customers.Absolutely garbage establishment, pharmacists provide no value to the community and should quit.

I went in with a written prescription from my Vet for my dog. They actually could not find the doctor in the system and refused to fill the prescription. Complete incompetence you need to hire some knowledgable staff. He clearly did not know how to use the computer, he kept asking someone to help him figure out how to enter the prescription. There is no excuse for this!!

Me and my friend visited CVS to do a little light shopping and we were viewing some skincare options. A very rude employee came up to us and told us we were "blocking the aisle" and he made us leave. We are very disappointed with this customer service; please talk to your employees and make sure they are trained in talking to customers because this man certainly wasn't!

No public restrooms. What pharmacy doesn't that are available for their customers? Their excuse was that it was near the covid testing....so move the covid testing site or put up a barrier. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out

This CVS is sub-par at best. It is a high volume store, so I can excuse some of what I witness. Still, I regularly experience sloppiness, incompetence, and poor customer service from staff at this location. Most recently I asked to speak with a pharmacist to better understand how I should administer an injectable drug, and I heard the pharmacist vent to another staff member, "he should read the directions." After overhearing this comment from 20 feet away, I decided to visit another CVS branch with a reputation for better service, and to ask for assistance. This CVS needs a lot of work and some staff training to work effectively with others.
