Although it is well situated in bristol , i found the hotel very old school. Front desk not very helping, street light at the windows that makes night like day, AC that sounds like a wrecking train and too few shower pressure….. not very convinced for the price

If you want to sleep at night, make sure your room is not near the street side. There’s a bar across the street that is open until 12:30/1 am. It plays REALLY loud music until closing. And people are walking by to/from the bar and you can literally hear their conversations. I travel frequently to big cities and haven’t ever had an issue sleeping in my room in nyc, Boston, etc. Not sure if the walls and windows here are not as thick but whatever reason you can hear everything going on outside. Then at 5:30 am you hear the loud beeping of the usps trucks from across the street.

Ideal location but they rely on that and nothing else really. The place is tired looking and needs some attention. Hardly worth what they charge per night. Location is wonderful though. Just think they take advantage and charge way too much for tired old rooms. Bristol itself is charming,so stay somewhere else and spend your money in the shops versus this inn.

Location is excellent for a get away. However to pay $400 for a sleepless night is not what I expected. The room we were assigned had this loud and vibrating engine of something thru out the night and it was horrible.

I’ve photographed a few weddings here and it’s truly a gem of a venue. The getting ready space has such nice light and catching sunset outside of the reception tent is just too easy. - Michael Silvano Photography

Beautiful place and exceptionally clean! Parking can be a little challenging but worth the effort.

There was a rocky start with their reservation system charging a higher price than advertised on a non-refundable rate, but they did fix it fairly promptly and with no hassle.
The place itself was fairly adorable and if there is such a thing, the epitome of a New England Harbor Inn. I was very pleased and comfortable in the room I had. It was roomy enough, and had a mix of modern pleasantries and old harbor décor. My room was street facing corner room, and despite there being a restaurant/bar almost directly across the street, I was never bothered by any street noise. I've seen others complain about the air conditioning, and while the windows indeed do not open, the built-in air conditioner made it very comfortable for the hot June weather.
The surrounding town was nice to walk around and has that classic beach feel to it. I had forgotten how much I missed the smell of salt air. There are a number of varied choices for eating within walking distance in addition to the couple of restaurants on the Inn property. There are also a lot of small shops with eclectic hours that can be fun to look at.
I'll probably have reason to stay in the area again, and with the management being responsive to issues, and the charm and pleasantness of the Inn itself, I'll likely be staying here again.

I am from China. The Bristol is my third stop in America. I really enjoy the days in Bristol and Harbor inn. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. They express their kindness from their heart I can feel it. My English is not good. I have so many problems to ask for their help. They are. patient and eager to help me find the solution. I am really appreciated for their help. I want say thank you to all colleagues in front desk and housekeeping department and etc, especially Nick and Melonie. I will come back soon.

Stayed at this hotel for a local wedding as it was the only one nearby. Charged an absurd price hike due to weddings in the area. More than 600$ for a single night in a mediocre room. Asked about early check in and was just repeatedly told to ask again later only to ultimately not even be able to check in 10 mins early. Clearly had no intention of trying to honor that request. When I finally checked in the room was 80 degrees because they turned off the AC (likely when it was cleaned hours ago)

They want you to park in library parking lot down the street. No valet, not the safest neighborhood.
Rooms beautiful. Site beautiful. Parking… they need to do better

The only good thing about this place is the location. And that is really by default because there are pretty much no hotels in this area so we had to stay here for a local wedding. I "locked in" an early pay ahead rate months in advance but when the time came, the prices dropped by over half and the hotel would not even upgrade me in a basically empty hotel. So I was pretty salty to find that for $500, it was no better than a Holiday Inn. The room was nothing special, the air unit was loud and annoying (luckily the weather was nice and the window opened), and the bathroom lighting was weird and dim for getting ready. Finally, the extra $25 "amenity fee" seemed ridiculous because.... What was there??? I would not recommend unless you absolutely have to.

Room was super nice. Staff was so helpful and polite. The only downside were the morons from NJ who ignored the hotel rules and partied into the wee hours. I hope they read this, though I doubt they can. In walking distance of so many lovely shops.
